OMG they have really killed the essence of this movie by not releasing in its extended form. I liked the movie, but some parts were so ununderstandable even after watching several times. Now it makes much more sense.
I can't agree more, I find it stupid that some people who like the movie prefer the other version than the extended cut.
I mean, the extended cut literally makes perfect sense and is much longer for the viewer to comprehend than the original.
I'm still confused. I watched the original 4 times thinking I was missing something eventually I realised all the pieces just weren't there. I thought guy Richie wrote a script he loved but couldn't Tie together and hoped everyone was too embarrassed to admit it didn't make sense.
@@steveanton763 Those folks are full of BS. It took me over a decade to understand the movie, but you sir were on the right path; you knew something was off. Long short, you can't take this movie at face value, you have to attention to the symbols and get a quality education in political economy and behavioral economics. Jake Green is the Central Banking system. Its literally in his name. Jake is short for the biblical character Jacob and Green is short for the Colonial Greenback; their common denominator is that both not only stole from individuals , but also their offspring through trickery and debt. Throughout the movie, what is Jake Green function? He's lending money to folk and businesses he knows can't pay him back. If you've read the later chapters Plato's "The Republic", Socrates explains when a state economy converts from an money economy (gold) into a debt economy (Green fiat currency). Socrates states that soon, life basic necessities will only be afforded by debt, and if you can't pay the debt, your real possessions will taken from you. Jake takes this 3000 year old game, but can't loose because he's (the Central Banks) loaning money that doesn't exist, but if you don't pay the debt, he takes all your real possessions. If you pay your debt Jake Wins; if you dont't Jake wins because the US Dollar is not money cause its created for debt and not gold; "nobody sees gold". Some terms you may want to look up; Greshams Law, fractional banking and fiat currencies. You'll also have to watch the unedited UK version of Revolver. One last thing. The term Revolver is a credit industry term for a customer (debt slave) who pays the minimum "interest" of their debt; Donald Trump was unable to do that several times.

Whoever believes Sam Gold is Satan didn't get the movie at all. Movie is very deep, very theoretical, so it's an understandable mistake. It's not God either. Religion is part of Sam Gold's legacy, so no wonder why nobody gets this masterpiece movie.
Satan means adversary.
Sam Gold is quite literally the satan/adversary of earths population.

I searched for the extended cut on the internet but couldn't find it but chances are that you will only get it if you buy the dvd on Amazon.
