This channel Firstpost and Phulki Sharma gives so much hype that India is a developed country and that it only competes with EU, UK and USA. There are millions of Indians who are ready to sell their kidneys to land in any of the developed nations. Can go and check infront of embassies of even countries like Brazil, Egypt, Nigeria where tons of people wait for visas.Phalki is so ignorant that she puts a show as if UK is the only issue that India has now. Millions of poor Indian labourers lead such miserable life in Middle East that the women working as maids get constantly raped by every male member of Arab families... such a shameful and disgusting Phalki never addresses these problems.

India should not agree for FTA between the two countries without having UK fulfil spell out its obligations, namely strict control & action against Anti-India forces from their Universities, Islamic & Khalistani radicals, strict conditions on Visas/Permits, Data localisation & other key issues. The current trade itself lopsided in favour of the UK. Why the hell are we trying to benefit UK additionally with FTA? If Britain's economy goes down, so be it.

India has a trade surplus with the UK, idk what you’ve heard but the trad definitely benefits India. In fact, developed countries are better trade partners for India because if you get countries at a similar development level or even one or two steps above, you actually are in much closer competition with them for the same value-added processes and job types.

Despite being thrown under the bus, India’s economy has surpassed that of the teeny weeny island of colonial criminals’ that refuses to apologise for the dark history/ crimes against humanity.
uk yearns for a trade deal with India yet again (we know how the last one ended up lasting well over two centuries), however, wants to take more than it has to offer.
EU is a better economic partner. uk refuses to grant visas as part of the trade deal but wants unrestricted access to generate wealth from India. Beggars cannot be choosers.
Uk must instead focus on choosing wisely between heating and eating, cost of living crisis, homelessness, mortgage crisis and such. Rwanda is a good trading partner for the irrelevant uk

      Why Indians hate the British....?
      1. More than 100 million Indians died in the first 40 years of British rule.
      2. 29 million Indians died under British induced famines designed by Churchill under his military doctrine.
      3. India and China were the richest countries in the world than brits came slaughtered Indians and took their wealth, which made India poor.
      4. The total value of wealth looted from India is worth more than $45 trillion dollars.
      5. British were worse than nazis because in 200 years, they conducted countless massacres like Jalian walla bhag and Machlipatnam massacre.
      6. Churchill and British army raided villages in India took away the entire agricultural yield as reserve stock pile. Which led to more than 4 million deaths of bengali people.
      7. Our stolen wealth our artifacts are still in the British museums they won't be returned to us.
      8. After all this, they still haven't apologized or paid us our reparations, but they do lecture us on human rights. Almost every day.

Rishi Sunak is a perfect leader for UK with a good grip on priorities. Instead of pandering to popularity he is making gentle yet firm moves to steer Britain away from disaster and towards firm economic progress, even if Brits themselves are woefully unaware of this; pompous and so very full of themselves as always.
However, India cannot surrender its interests for a UK trade deal.
    - Britain cannot ask for or hope for Indian business without Indians. That just does not make sense.
    - Lack of trust and security. Trade can only be possible and make sense within an envelope environment of trust and security. UK falls woefully short on both counts. Britain is also part of the five eyes intelligence group that is hostile in its actions towards India and this is a far greater issue and threat overarching and drowning the trade interests and benefits completely. Treating Britain as a friendly and hoping that UK trade deal as beneficial for both India and UK is a big mistake. India also has not forgotten East India Company completely ... just yet.

Like with Aus along with trade their is many strategic value in maritime security sense. UK should come out of their colonial mindset and provide some fair deal or stay in line, let us make deals with other smarter players first 😂🤣

An FTA addresses non-tariff barriers to services too, not just tariffs on goods. It seems like an effort to find something negative when mentions of Theresa May come up. The reporter failed to mention that the Tories under Boris made specific reference to India in their manifesto for a special relationship. No other developing country was mentioned, India was the only one. Thirdly it is very clear that despite whatever Kemi Badenoch might say, immigration will ultimately be part of these trade negotiations. Also Britain’s highest tariffs are on agriculture , something India could obviously export like mad to the UK. The idea India has nothing to gain from any of this is dishonest or incompetent reporting.

@Cotswolds1913 Nice try. UK thrived on the £45 Trillion loot from India.
Despite being thrown under the bus, India’s economy has surpassed the teeny weeny island of colonial criminals’ that refuses to apologise for the dark history/ crimes against humanity.

India is magnanimous enough to forgive the £45Trillion loot but the loss of lives and atrocities committed need acknowledgement.

"No other developing country was mentioned, India was the only one."
You bet India would be the only one, the Brits like many others will be salivating at the prospect of accessing a much larger market.
The gains you mention would be marginal, Britain as a market is small fry. It's not going to be a massive opportunity for India's agricultural sector.

Of course, it's PM Modi's great liberal folkowers whom Malls can't resist, otherwise in the great democracy in India you know what can happen to Malls😊. I am glad that we are also considering to making this a department where we tell people what to do in Malls , Shops etc. I remember, a hindu temple was inaugurated in USA recently, i hope Americans will protect their freedom. And yes, in my home state of Punjab, Christian missionaries are converting many Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and others to Christians. I just want to say that i am thankful that modern liberal religion is spreading in my state, it's better to have a modern one , then to have a conservative and extrmist.
