poor sky scout , we will always remember you as harpie's brother lol
Now he is Harpie’s step bro
@@salihhtamer😳
Absolutely xD
I'm glad you said this bro, when I seen him pull it I was like....... THE HELL IS A SKY SCOUT, WHERE BRO AT? 😂
Still have the Harpie's Brother version from back then, didn't even know it had been renamed
This game must've taken *forever* considering how fully unhinged Paul got by the end of it. This was absolutely hilarious!
It's a miracle that the editor got it down as short as it is, this one last ages irl
Paul really went evil Pharaoh mode in this duel. Felt like I was watching that episode when Yugi was dueling Weevil and kept relentlessly attacking him even when his Lifepoints were out.
I was actually drawing parallels with Pegasus- his voice sounded a little similar to Pegasus' voice in the english dub
@@MercenaryPen This is true lol, the way he's condescending too fits Pegasus.
……..Monsta cardo……..
You'll pay for that, Weevil! You'll pay dearly!
Watching Paul's stoic ass say, with enthusiasm, "We're going to hell together, AHAHAHAHA!!!" was something I didn't know I needed, but it was glorious.
Poor Alec. Done so dirty with the label "servent" placed over his cam. 😂
That Alec pic mid duel hahaha looks too much like a picture someone would choose to honor the memory of someone who passed 😂
LMFAOO
I can't believe Alec died in the middle of a duel again
@@clokkoflokko318 Paul took his soul for a moment for that gravity bind stall 😂
I mean....... that's ....not entirely inaccurate, is it?
Wow, that was some heart-of-the-cards anime level plot twist. This episode should have come with an anime flashback of Paul's father giving him Minor Goblin Official on his 16th birthday to signify him becoming a man or some such nonsense.
Paul's energy by the end of that second duel was really fun LMAO very anime villain
He literally was channelling Marik 😂
It was great
Heel Paul is a trip lmfao
18:24 my favorite quote from the original anime
That duel literally outlasted two of your cameras.
Oh gosh. Seeing harpies brother in a PSV print....listed as "sky scout" ....my heart is crying 😭
The turnaround was just perfectly insane! Really loved how Paul revealed that trap to just "Such a shame you're about to meet oblivion!" That was perfect!
*Easily our favorite retro duel in a while! Bet you didn't see that ending coming!* 😈
Here's the Spell Ruler one - th-cam.com/video/QgiO3P6O-Wk/w-d-xo.html
I will always prefer old Yu-Gi-Oh to new just simply due to the fact that I can follow it. I don't need to read an essay on a card and have to wait a fully 1-3 minutes for a turn to resolve.
I’m a simple man, I see Team APS posts, I watch.
My face hurts from smiling during that 2nd duel
The second duel is the most epic of all time
Say what you might but this was way more interesting and would have made for way better memories than the modern version of "Look at every card in my deck, I special summon everything from my deck and extra deck and everything else! I win and your cards do nothing, so much fun!"
Facts
It's so unexpected (and fun!) to see Paul go full ham by the end. You can practically see the Marik veins bulging across his face.
Usually Alec cosplays as the supervillain, so this was a refreshing change of pace.
Paul really went Marik mode for the last few turns with the burn cards.
Paul woke up and chose violence.
Fun fact: The APS in Team APS stands for
Alec
Paul
Slarry
Nah, it stands for
Android
Psycho
Slarry
No, THIS IS PATRICK
I love Wingweaver. Still have mine from when I was a kid pulling these cards.
Pure nostalgia seeing wingweaver 👊
Your duels bring me 15 yrs back and i started collecting again old cards, metal raiders, pharaos servant, spell ruler...etc
I love the how you open a box before then spit it up for a duel. Im entertained! Please keep these kind of videos up!
I've always found it hilarious how Alec gets that smug look on his face when he plays the two oldest and worst cards you can find, acting like it's the ultimate combo on earth, and does it all with such confidence. 😂😂 "I play my... 😎"
The most unironically hype stall duel I've ever seen.
Man Pharoh's Servant was such a cool set. For me it was when Yugioh really started growing into it's own shoes, with the addition so many new effect monsters and traps. The game went from just throwing vanillas back and forth to actually putting some thought into your moves. I still have my original Secret Rare Imperial Order from back then too.
The minor goblin official was actually so clutch
I've said it before when these 2 duel with classic cards, but they know how to make these duels feel like I'm watching the anime. Constantly having heart of the cards, getting the card they need to turn the game in their respective favor. Genuinely could not have predicted anything during rhe second half of duel 2. Love it guys
I began Yu-Gi-Oh with the original Pharaoh's Servant. So many of these cards bring back memories and a time when I enjoyed this game.
You always do these 'sealed' 1 on 1 Duels. I rather see the entire Team APS get together and do a draft with an older set with some light-hearted stakes on the line.
This is actually more enjoyable because there's tension and the duels are close and every turn is thought out. Its not one big combo
I love seeing these old school duels. As an OG player myself and with the newer game being too over complicated for my old head ass 😅 it’s awesome seeing these duels. It definitely brings me a lot of nostalgia seeing all these classic cards from my time. You boys keep up the great work! 🔥
Oh Wingweaver. My first Vanilla Boss Monster🥰
Paul was so powerful this duel he nearly sealed Alec's soul in a card at the end there!
I was perfectly happy with this duel. This old school stuff is fun to watch. Also, instead of calling it life point chicken, you *could* call it a Shadow Duel lol.
I know Paul is ever the consummate professional but those last few interactions felt personal.
this IS what we wanted 🙏🏻 ✨️ 10:20
Feel like I need a shower after that last game. That was nasty to behold
Oh my goodness, childhood memory unlocked, was that music from an old PC game called “pharaoh” ? It was like an Egyptian life game
Love how intense it got at the end! Draw your card and you lose! 😂😂
Paul should've actually had 300 more life points than he did. He shouldn't have been discarding as early, because Time Seal was played against him, but he still drew. Still a funny game of chicken!
Wait for real?! I was so into it I didn't notice 😅
Paul strikes back what an ending to a duel!!!
Playing that Premature Burial and Imperial Order without sleeves, my soul!
I’m sure they reprints not original
@@mrnaughtycat even as reprints premature is like 15 a copy in NM
I love a full-field duel. ❤️
Holy man, everyone side-deck Minor Goblin Official now!
As asked by Paul, I loved this round of games! Yes, this booster pack series definitely trusted that you were applying them to previous boosters ie boosting your existing deck as appose to building a deck with said cards, which I hope is the final to the series, Paul and Alec combining their "collection" from the series of boosters together to make real, functioning decks.
But yeah, I miss the slow burn games. It was like playing chess in that it should be methodical and a good time of exchanging wits and well-acquired strategies learned over the years, not speed-running the game because you bought all the right cards for $+200 just to end the game as soon as possible.
The most anime duel I’ve ever seen
I think Marik possessed Paul this duel HAHAHA thought he was going to threaten to send Alec to the shadow realm half way through
Shoutout to the awesome (and quite fitting) Pharaoh PC game soundtrack used during the pack opening.
I like these. Hopefully you guys have fun with this series during the GX era
The second duel may have been insane but it was just so pure. So much more fun than the 15 minute combos, FTKs and essay-length effects in today’s game.
10 cards on the field after 10 pass moves? This is nostalgia 🥰
Idea for a sealed video:
Open an entire box, and then sort the cards into "packages" that you take turns picking.
"Do i want the mystic tomato sangan package, or the chaos dragon package..."
14:13, haha. Nice move at the end, Paul. Good duels.
Bro Paul is so the next Yugio anime villain 😂
You should put segments on your videos. You wouldn't have to fast forward through pack pulls. People who want to watch it can, and those who don't can skip straight to the duel after the intro. It helps the viewers experience so they are more likely to return! keep up the great work guys
Anytime Paul gets crunk in a duel, it's AWESOME! 😂
He said “our pulls from spell ruler” this is PHARAOHS SERVANT LMFAOOO
Bro, you forgot to include the Fairy Meteor Crush as a superrare in your haul.
True I saw that
Paul was starting to sound like a Yugioh villain at the end there, 5⭐ performance!
Even the camera fell asleep. Thanks for the riveting gameplay Alec XD
Paul started to sound like a Yugioh villain at the end there, 5⭐ performance!
This takes me back, I had over used these cards in Yugioh gx duel academy, game boy advance.
That was the best ending lol 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😈
Game 2 was amazing to watch. Same vibes as watching yu gi oh on a Saturday morning as a kid 😂
Amazing second duel
Game 2 was a blast to watch
during duel 1 when you tribute off the monster that is equipped with premature since the spell card was not destroyed it would stay on the field until it was destroyed
Gotta say these formats are funner to watch/play then the insane field spams and 10 minutes combos of modern Yugioh
Thank you guys. Love the video. I had a top 3 bad day today and I’m happy to get my mind off it with these vids. Keep it up!!
Gravity bind was so toxic! 😆
I think the 25th anniversary brought back alot of old school players like myself to follow yugioh content like this so we really appreciate it fellas!
Btw Pharoahs servant was my favorite booster set especially since I actually had a 1st edition Jinzo.
I also thought konami stole my "Pyroslasher" concept art for Darkfire Soldier #2 when I was younger 😂😂😂
Love some Classic duels. Keep it up
My favorite combo as a kid. Gravity Bind, Skull Invitation, Infinite Dismissal. Sit back and watch.
Great episode! You should sit down for a video talking about your favorite OG cards. I love how much you have to say while opening the packs
Another banger from Paul 😂
Paul: Nice time seal, too bad i'm going to draw anyway!
MGO came out like a WWE supervillian, the cage match of Alex's own design.
"Is this really what u want to watch?"
Last game: Yes we do
I had a copy each of Magic Drain, Enchanted Javelin, and Bombardment Beetle in my deck when I was in elementary school.
Paul pulled the upset, reminds me of the Daigo parry ❤
Man i wish i could buy the same playmat as you guys have ! It look so clean and not over the top, unlike most I see online !
Hilarious ending 😆
This is why I like this format much more
I thought all the passing and ending turns was tense and exciting, but then again I’ve only ever watched the anime when that was in kids WB.
Omg the OST from the Pharaoh video game, that game was my childhood
That last duel was fantastic no hand traps just fun
Hands down the best duel on this channel so far 😂 i need paul to do more anime villain
Gotta be one of my favorite duels on the channel.
God damn, I thought Spell Ruler was wild XD. That second duel was especially fun to watch!
They should take all the cards they pulled from all those old sets and make decks out of those. I feel that would be a fun old school duel.
Game 2 was actually really entertaining! Gravity Bind stalled, taking 500 damage per turn, the javelin, milling for 300, Minor Goblin Official for the win.
Damn was really looking forward to seeing buster blader 😂. Hella funny ending
Man, I wish ygo had drafting.
Agreed! Master duel at least could use a draft mode
lmao gravity bind made this duel so much more fun hahaah ur reactions 😂
14.15 was funny as hell. Good games
The race of that second duel XD
If you had different angles that we could see each players hands would be a nice touch 👏
But I do enjoy seeing you actually play with real cards & not just Master Duel ..
This is why i love old school
Man, the second round goes on for so long. Hard to believe neither of you pulled Dust Tornado (yes, Pharaoh's Servant has it).
Paul so unhinged 😂
