Make sure to have a backup to your backup just in case. Like a terabyte drive specifically for your work and keep it up to date like the end of the month.
My USB was corrupted with all my 3D models and code files. This was all built up in a span of 4 years. The USB was my only hope after my laptop broke down. I tried using the commands like you did in the video, this made it accessible but deleted most of my data. Later in the video I saw the Wondershare method and I was doomed in my head because I had missed a big chance of getting my data back.
An absolute gentleman. Would not have gotten my issue sorted without you. I followed each step on two different laptops but it was working for me. The Wondershare Recovery worked though... Kind of. I installed it, had it scan for my drive and that fixed it. I didn't even need to buy the product to recover the data. Once Wondershare scanned it, the USB Drive was back appearing in my Windows Explorer. I backed the hell up out of it immediately to my external drive. Spent the last 20/30 minutes barely moving incase it stopped working. Backed up now and that stick is being chucked in the bin. Whether or not it's been fixed or not... The Cursed thing has caused me too much grief to even look at it anymore. It's disloyalty cannot go unpunished.

I have data on my USB Drive. It has always worked but for some reason, when I plug it in windows 10 does not detect the drive. Actually if you watch carefully, it shows up for a split second then disappears. Windows states it cannot detect drive in D: All other usb drive work fine. Just this one has problems. Help?

THANK YOU!!! I had a 512g Sandisk that had locked me out (with 234 files I needed!!) and stated that I needed to 'Format Disk' before I did anything. We know that would have erased everything. Then I found you after a little search. Suddenly, there were my files back (after using the CMD option) and operating as they should. I was sweating at the possible loss of all and needed a gin. I honestly don't know Ive done all of those steps but its just not there as if there never was a USB drive, It makes a connection sound but there's nothing. I do see a little brown scratch on it tho

I have three flash drives and they all have similar files and folders that, a few months ago, worked fine. Certain files will upload to the computer, but others just put the computer into "not responding". I don't think any of the suggestions here will help this. I believe this might be on the computer's end.
The software cannot recover from a CORRUPTED USB, as such a drive would not work. Please do a demo of fixing everyhing either without formatting or with formatting and recovery of file on that very drive. No editing and no switching windows in the recording

What if the usb drive is not even showing up? I was formatting my usb to install ChromeOS image, and I made the mistake of choosing "delete all date, this will take longer". While the format was about 5% done, the usb drive just disappeared from existance! from the virtual world that is.

Thank you for your question. If it repairs the drive then all the data should still be on the USB if it can not repair the issues then you can use Recoverit to retreive the data.
I have three flash drives and they all have similar files and folders that, a few months ago, worked fine. Certain files will upload to the computer, but others just put the computer into "not responding". I don't think any of the suggestions here will help this. I believe this might be on the computer's end.

The software cannot recover from a CORRUPTED USB, as such a drive would not work. Please do a demo of fixing everyhing either without formatting or with formatting and recovery of file on that very drive. No editing and no switching windows in the recording

I don't understand, I can't even get to where it shows on 1:50. When I plug in the Flash Drive I only receive a "Please insert a disk into USB Drive (D:)."

Hi there, thank you for your question! If you tried all the steps in the video, then I would recommend trying data recovery software such as Recoverit but I can't guarantee you will be able to retrieve your files but if they're important to you its worth trying.

If the scan and repair process doesn’t work, you can try reformatting the flash drive. However, keep in mind that reformatting will erase all of your files. If the flash drive has physical damage, you might be able to repair it at home, but it’s best to take it to a data recovery professional.
What if the usb drive is not even showing up?
I was formatting my usb to install ChromeOS image, and I made the mistake of choosing "delete all date, this will take longer". While the format was about 5% done, the usb drive just disappeared from existance! from the virtual world that is.

I've tried all sorts to no avail, hence why I'm here. A 128gb Kingston USB drive. Suddenly displays 'drive is write protected'. Tried many tools, and drive appears to have a RAW file system. Tried to remove write protect with CMD prompt, but nothing 🤔
