Lake Tahoe is stunning during the warmer months but when it starts to snow it is absolutely stunning . Watching your videos is definitely going to make me stop taking my beautiful home state of California for granted there are so many beautiful sites to see.
In a world where we only see the negative, you and your family are part of the light that keeps the world turning. Your take and excitement on everything you have encountered on your American adventure should be an example to all that there is beauty everywhere, if you only look at it with new eyes and an open heart. Your editing and presentation are excellent. My only wish is that the videos were longer and more often. I will be very sad when this adventure comes to an end but find hope that by the time you reach the end of this journey, the means for part two will be realized. Whenever I go to Lake Tahoe (I live about an hour away near Placerville) it is a wonderful experience. Growing up, skiing at Tahoe (and Squaw Valley), swimming in the lake, taking my dogs for their first experience in the snow, my first gambling experience (and winning $2K) and going to several weddings...wonderful memories. I have to say I have never been on the lake in a boat, my uncle used to have houseboat at Lake Shasta which is also a beautiful lake! Glad you all shared that experience!!

I didn't realize how lucky I was growing up 90 minutes away from Tahoe for a long time. My son recently asked me "If you could pick anywhere to live, where would it be?" For scenery alone, Lake Tahoe comes in second only to Innsbruck for me. Glad you got a chance to see it in person.

I'm 59 years old and have been to 17 States and yet...Never been to the West Coast. I'd love to.
I was blessed to live in Incline Village on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe from 1979 through 1983. Skiied my legs off in the winter and lunched my ski boat in the afternoons after work most days, it was glorious. I'm so glad you guys can experience it!

I rode the riverboat in Memphis . It was the Memphis Queen . I never did the dinner cruise, but heard it was good . Never thought they had one on Lake Tahoe .
My family goes to Lake Tahoe every Christmas to visit more family and there's no place more magical. I'm so happy you all visited because it's actually beautiful year round. Best family on TH-cam👍💯🥰

My daughter and son-in-law got married in Tahoe at a HUGE mountainside house that is rented out as an event space. Lake Tahoe is one of the prettiest places I've ever seen.
I assume they told you that Lake Tahoe is 1645 ft deep but did they tell you that Canadian Geese speak Canadian!
Brings back so many memories when my parents always took us to Lake Tahoe! Emerald Bay was the best view! If you are a TV Western fan, they did filmed The Ponderrosa with Lorne Green and a lot of up and coming young actors who know as Michael Landon, Pernnall Roberts, David Canary and so on!! The list is endless!
