- Grammy winning Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige has embarked on a new journey from behind the camera. As part of Lifetime’s celebration of Black Music Month, the Good Morning Gorgeous songstress has executive produced two films named after her empowering and popular songs, “Real Love” and “Strength of A Woman.”

Yeah, I agree, we need a part 3. However, let's show day to day of real love in building a relationship with Ben & Kendra. We need to show the moving to North Carolina, looking for a home together, (what Kendra calls building with Ben!), going on trip together, some dramatic engagement and then dealing with Ben's family especially that mother....showing Black men know how to romance a woman, and then planning the engagement party, just having fun together..... and then the wedding......so many twists and turns and I am not a writer........

This was a great interview! It's incredible to see Mary’s growth in not only music, but in the world of film (on and off) camera. I'm not privy to the behind the scenes in terms of production, directing lol but from seeing her acting its awesome to witness her talent. I’m happy for her and those young actors that seem to have a flourishing career ahead. Again to the young lady interviewing them; great job!.

Dear Mary J. Blige and the powers that be at Lifetime: most of the fans who’ve fallen in love with Ben and Kendra’s story want to see them grow together. Please don’t break them up again. There are ways to portray conflict w/o resulting in heartbreak. Kendra has experienced a lot of losses. She can battle with triggers from those said losses and seek counseling after potentially losing Ben. Whatever you do…please don’t break them up again. Please don’t follow the TP script of drawing in fans to a specific couple…to only tear them apart. This causes frustration and you will lose loyal fans. We see enough toxic relationships on Reality TV and social media, please give us a break from the toxic relationship trend. Besides, let's show the beauty of Black Love as well as explemifying
a couple fighting for their relationship. Show accountability, respect, honesty, and transparency.

@@staceysweat7187 I agree. There are layers and different stages to a relationship. Show Ben being patient with Ken as she works out the trauma from her past. Show the audience the steps Kendra have taken to heal, and how will they manage to co-parent with Ben’s bitter ex Connie. I want to see Kendra’s sister dating and Sunny’s progression with following in Kendra’s footsteps.

Very good interview and interviewer. She asked great questions and listened attentively. It was so nice to watch a feel good love story without violence and the n word being used.
I just been seen just a glow with Mary lately I was lucky enough to see her live in concert recently and she looked so happy on the stage and that made me wanna purse my self love journey 💞
