I didn’t know either of these actors prior to the Lifetime specials. But I thoroughly enjoyed the REAL LOVE, as I just watched it on Father’s Day with the fam. However, STRENGTH OF A WOMAN had me way more in my feelings and on an emotional roller coaster, talking all types of crazy to the screen. You definitely don’t wanna watch a movie with my fam, as we be so invested haha. But I absolutely loved the styling, visuals and fashion on that 2nd one. All I kept seeing when Ajiona/Kendra grew up was Nia Long from Love Jones and that’s my ALL TIME favorite #blackmovie #classic.
The storyline! The HBCU aspect! The couple! They truly matched and I could see them as a legit couple at my local movie theater. This movie is so good! Also Da’Vinci is extremely articulate.
