- My First Day in Jakarta Indonesia! I was so surprised with how MODERN this city truly is. I have been once before briefly, but this was my first real exploration of the city, and first time seeing the new modern areas!

Bro, do you want me to take you to an exotic tourist spot? a location that is rarely visited by foreign tourists but the place is very exotic. It's free for you, no need to pay me as a tour guide. My location is near Jakarta
U must try to Bogor, come to Kebun Raya Bogor, Taman Safari
The fact that jakarta is more safety than Kuala Lumpur is impressive. People always go to Overrated Bali and skip other islands that are much more beautiful, this is a big job for the Indonesian government so that tourism is not Bali-centric.
Puki ngana
Udah, tapi dikomplain tidak sesuai dgn halal tourism
Sumatra where I live, Province of Bengkulu, village of Suro Baru... not many foreign tourists around, pratically none...
I personally find entire present day Australia is dangerous, bogans everywhere and present day Austrians are just descendants of dumped British prisoners, Australia will always be part of real Indonesia, the west are just thieves, murderers, rapists, real terrorists, eternal criminals.
Even Aboriginals will always be Indonesians.
Real rich will never steal from others, colonize others.
Our beloved Jakarta is winner No. 1 world's best sustainable transport system (STA 2021)
And Indonesia is No. 1 world's most beautiful country by FORBES
And the world map is wrong since Mercator projection 1569, Real Indonesia is the true world's richest and huge as Russia
Just Google all by yourself.
@@brunocrayston3877 Because 80% part of Sumatera, Kalimantan, Papua is Dangerous, even for Indonesian people from different island (not Local people)
In whole of ASEAN except SG i felt Indonesia is most safest country and People are very friendly
Well the only country that keep saying bad things about Indonesia is Australia so he's just probably keep seeing that Indonesia is dangerous in the news
Hati hati means be care ful
Heart -heart😂
Di = at , Jalan = road. Hati hati di jalan ( as a phrase) means : pls be careful or take care when you go/when you travel/when you continue your journey.
Yay! More Michael and Josie!

Hati hati:(being careful) is not just about a crime of theft, pickpocketing or something like that, but we can show caution to people, for example when walking, you have to be careful, crossing the road, you have to be careful and whatever.
@@Skill2308benar, Jakarta very safe.
dijakarta sudah gak s extreem itu sudah banyak cctv dan fast respon
Or as simply to greeting a good bye
It's basically the equivalent of saying "Take care!" in context of greetings
Jakarta City, Indonesia 🇮🇩 Best & Top
Blok M is touristy area. But as tomorrow is Lebaran (Hari Raya), local stalls may closed or open after 12:00. Be prepared with your food supply until 11 April.
Astra is the biggest automotive company in Indonesia. Its businesses are very diverse. Automotive, banks, Infrastructure, housing, financing, etc

17:50 Teh Botol is kinda pioneer in packaged ready to drink tea. The german graduated indonesian founder was inspired by Coca-cola. Later Nestea, Brisk, Lipton made similar offering.
Good on you Michael - have fun posting! 😊
Thanks!
Great video! I've been exploring local food here too, and it's been amazing. The MRT looks pretty dope, though I haven't tried it yet. Indonesia's mix of modern and traditional vibes is really impressive!👌🇮🇩
Hati-hati means 'be careful', but more accurate translation is 'take care'. We use it when saying goodbye usually.
I see! Thank you

3:34 "Hati-hati!" = "Be careful!"
It means as a suggestion to increase awareness.
Not only to avoid crimes (pickpocket, fraud, etc), but it also to minimize accidents, like slip, stumble, being cold of rain, being exhausted and lost control, etc.
It's very populer in Indonesia to suggest carefulness, especially from mother to her children, or from teacher or elder. Or even from friend. As a form of concern or affection.
Jakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩 is the world best city in Asean, Asia Pacific 🌏 & the world 🌎
i'm from Jakarta, and yea it's pretty safe - unless you go to the sketchy parts of the city (just like many parts of the world). pro tip when you're using public transportations here (especially the commuter train/KRL and the bus): wear your backpack in front. just in case.
Greetings from Bogor (rain) City in West Java - Indonesia, about 65 Km southern of DKI Jakarta. You can reach Bogor City Rail Station just by Commuter Line from Manggarai Station-Jakarta.
Hati-hati means becareful, take care, watch your step, well something like that. So when you want to step out from train, stair etc we (Indonesian) say "Hati hati dijalan" means be safe or take care, "hati hati melangkah" means watch your step, something like that means to be aware for your self. Mean while Ayo means like Let's go or Vamos in Spanish
7:32 hyy fyi, The building behind you is from the Astra company. Astra is not a television media company but an automotive company that owns motorcycle and car dealerships spread across Indonesia. It also has interests in property, financing, and leasing. The company has many subsidiaries and branches throughout Indonesia.
Thank you for featuring our former Capital City of Jakarta.
I’ll go to the new one when it’s ready!

Be cautious ... Be careful .... Hati-hati melakangkah: Watch your step!!!
Thank you for reviewing Jakarta. I feel so proud of being a Jakartan. I hope you had a good stay while you were in Jakarta and managed to find all the street food that you were looking for, specially the Martabak Manis 🙂

Please come and visit Jakarta, As A metropolitan City, Jakarta is one of the most Cheapest cost live in the ASEAN.
That type of drink is what we would count as a "health drink" in Indonesia.
Kind of a traditional remedy for several illnesses (fever, sore throat, colds, heartburns). Made out of Gypsum fibrosum, it's not carbonated because we believe that carbonated drinks is not good for your health.
That area of Little Tokyo that you guys went to is actually more than just having Japanese influence but it is a Japanese town in Jakarta. If you go there at night you will see lot of Japanese who live in Jakarta are going there and most of the Japanese restaurants and businesses in there are run by Japanese. Nowadays, that place transformed into more than just Japanese town but also cool hangout spot for youngsters. That is why you see a lot of street foods, nice cafes and food shop in there. Glad you guys enjoy your time in Blok M and please do explore more part of Jakarta, have a great time !
Thank you brother come to indonesia🇮🇩

Wow, that's one good camera you have. Nice video btw
you can use Google translate, typing in English and show them the Indonesian... many tourist do that and more easy to communicate,, enjoy your video ❤
In this context, hati hati means "take care your self". It's also a hope/ pray so your journey is safe. We say hati2, one package for saying goodbye. The other context of hati2 might be "be careful"
bentar lagi Jakarta sepi orang - orang pada pulang kampung ☺️
its that time of the year to let the city breath a little
Hati-hati from hati (means "heart/feeling") means to be careful. You know in the sense to use your heart and feels to feel out any dangers when doing anything.
Hati = heart, hati-hati = be carefull
Hati : Liver
Jantung : Heart

You've mixed up. ASTRA INDONESIA is owner of Toyota, Honda Motorcycle, etc in Indonesia while ASTRO is TV station in Malaysia.
You're around my neighborhood also to Barack Obama, Kuningan + Menteng, South Jakarta and Central Jakarta as one.
Many foreign embassies are around including Dutch, Australian, etc. Da Vinci apartment tower is very old but very exclusive, very limited units, and the same price as in upper class areas in Europe.
If you wanted to get authentic Indonesian street food you've stepped out too early, you should step out at Sarinah Plaza behind the plaza there's SABANG STREET with nice authentic street food. And and about 200 meters further you'd find "kampung turis" tourist village at Jalan Jaksa.
The can that you drink is not a soda drink or guava juice, its more for medicine drink. Helping Indonesian to recover when our body especially the thoarts was not feeling well, with guava flavour.
Good for when you get enter-wind
Come visit Indonesia again with your friends and relatives😊
That guava drink is actually for when you don't really feel well, but yes, you can have it anytime you want.
Teh Botol Sosro, can also called Teh Botol = Authentic Indonesian tea packaged in bottles
From the thumbnail, I thought you were James Corden ! Thanks for the video.

Welcome to Indonesia brother, might be you'll experience a "Bali belly" when you eat Indonesian street food but it's OK, It's how your body adapts to spicy and unique Indonesian food :D
Hati hati : be safe, be careful, take care.
TERIMA KASIH INDONESIA
Personally, if you want to just eat with a lot of cuisines & dessert options and chat, do a little shopping and chill, it's good to go to Kota Kasablanka Mall or Lotte Avenue Mall. Also there's this one super market, i can say a super supermarket that has this viral pizza called Grand Lucky in SCBD. You can also chill on SCBD Park, it's an outdoor place for youths and young office workers to chill after office hours. There're a lot of cafe and places to eat. there's this viral(?) noodle called mie tjap 1000? if i'm not mistaken. I have not try it yet tho. Just for a little reference.
Go explore PIK north Jakarta or sate Senayan in Menteng central jkt

Hi Michael!
Hi Josie!
Just found this channel 🤗🤗🥰
Hello!!
Hati hati also means take care.
The canned drink is to cooling down the heat. Taste wise might not as fun as soda but I can drink it everyday to beat Jakarta heat. We drink it for health reason 😊
27:00 Actually, the drink you bought is a kind type of medicinal drink to relieve sore throat 😂😂😂
Post more often!!😂
I have 6 vlogs in the bank ready to go!
hati-hati means be careful but its used more loosely in indonesia, its kinda like wishing people to be safe
Near kuningan are better price if you want stay a long in jakarta call residences near karet, pedurenan, Perbanas street. Maybe next time you comeback again to Jakarta. Jakarta have many food area, may be one day we can meet you guys i can show you the best food street in jakarta
Kata hati hati yg diucapkan kepada anda artinya orang sedang mendoakan anda agar tetap selamat dalam kegiatan
Thx broo
The canned drink you'd got from convenient store was a Chinese herbal drink for the cooling effect.
The name of the MRT stations are following the name of the building above, or the nearest biggest or famous building nearby. So the ASTRA station, or the MasterCard Station, is not sponsored by ASTRA or MasterCard, but the station is just located below those buildings.
No, it’s a sponsored advertisement for the company, (Dukuh Atas BNI, Setiabudi Astra, Istora Mandiri, Blok M BCA and Lebak Bulus Grab). MRT offered them naming rights as the deal as an effort to increase revenue. Lebak Bulus GRAB for example, Grab payed 33 billion rupiah for that.
@@jurianf.kaunang1808 Dukuh Atas BNI because BNI building is just above the MRT. Also ASTRA, and MasterCard, and Grab.
However, it's also right that those companies also secured the name by contributing to allow the MRT station construction and support the funding as well for that specific station.
@@jusufagung They don’t have to use whatever building nearby, and they can’t also because BNI, Astra, etc are different commercial entity either trademarks etc. That’s why MRT as part of the government ‘offer’ them naming rights, but the have to pay and contribution billions of Rupiah to MRT for their name to be as a station name. They have press conferences of that. Grab have to pay Rp 33 milliar just to put their name as a station.
take a time to talk with your embassy officers in Jakarta, you might need some travelling suggestions from your fellow Australian too 😁
hati-hati means, keep safe...!
Apapun makanannya minumnya teh botol sosro bro! 😊
I feel at home in Indonesia because my grandmother is there😅
