Is there a fast and easy way to test the individual ASICs that you’ve already removed (or new ones bc some of them are defective out of the reel sometimes) to see if they’re still good to be re-used before they go back on?
You can reattach with heat tape if it's just torn but you can also remove it. The device doesn't need it to work properly and it ends up gathering all the crap and dust inside anyway.

the plastic cover around the chips, does this need replacing if removed?
