Imagine calling someone bad when you're using a Team that basically loses to 1 fighting type and 1 steel type.
Glad I'm not the only one to notice half his team is weak to fighting and the other half can't scratch a steel type. Only one pokemon yet he couldn't have had a worse match up.

I unironically use Registeel with the same set only swapping rest for toxic in national dex UU and it actually works. I’ve tinkered with registeel kits since like 2015 and can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve went against one. It’s the secret sauce

I've won quite a few matches with this already. Had one guy somehow kill this and all my other pokemon except Draipion and then I accupressure and get evasion and then just max out all stats and caused them to forfeit. I love having Draipion in the party just for that.

Ah, Registeel. With astronomically high Defenses, albeit not quite as extreme as Shuckle's, and access to Body Press, a move that runs off of Defense, if you can boost its Defenses even higher, that's pretty much G-geeeeeeeeee. ...Wrong TH-camr.

You can swap def for spdef depending on the rest of your team.
192 speed so that even in complete form, you are still one speed faster than max speed smeargle, and you can just press substitute on his spore, then haze to prevent his baton pass shenanigans.

He could have won easily if he just had a single ghost type on his team.
That is the one major weakness to this, which is why you scout out the team before starting and if they have a ghost you try and kill it before deploying Registeel.

And the guy's opponent was complaining about "just clicking iron defense" when all he was doing was just spamming simple high-power moves. What is it with legendary spammers and claiming that actually using a strategy is "being bad at the game"? It seems to be more than just salt, it's almost like there's an entire subcommunity within the Pokemon fanbase that condemns relying on anything other than numbers.
