Interior design is not to be called simple but an extremely lazy approach .

You won't believe every professor in my college drives a venue 😂. Indians don't consider driving feel, looks, safety only features and kitna deti hai is enough for us .

Good comparison. Butif a buyer is searching for a SUV in the market this review wont help much! You should compare NA engines, Turbo engines separate. Creta and Seltos both are good options but we have to pay high price! So share some VFM models. Combination of features, comfort and safety should be considered.

Considering mainly city traffic drive of ~50-60 km/day (office drive, school pick/drop, etc. in bumper-to-bumper traffic), Hyryder full-hybrid seems to be the best option. Any comments on: (1) price tradeoff on car price for hybrid (paying premium) vs. petrol (2) battery life issues (replacement cost considering keeping the car for 15 years) and any comment on maintenance cost associated with hybrid option? (3) risks/ other issues of battery in hybrid option?
Tbh this review feels biased towards koreans, I have riden all the cars, and I feel if you want performance you go with taigun, if you want comfort you go with elevate, if you want mileage and reliability you go with hyryder, if you want mafia look you go with grand vitara or seltos, but if you want to be a chapri you can choose creta

Unless price & variants are mentioned, it is never going to be a fair comparison. Most of the praised features in seltos & creta are present in the top models which cost around 22-24Lakhs, while Honda top variant is only at 19L. Even the Hyryder hybrid top variant goes upto 23L

Have been on the lookout for a an automatic car for my wife with 90% city driving. At 5 feet she is not the tallest person around so we need a vehicle she could comfortably handle. While she will self drive for now we may look at a chauffeur down the road. Safety and comfort of rear seats is paramount as we will have 2 young children occupying those seats. A healthy mix of ease of use, fun to drive, features, fuel efficiency and reliability is what we are looking for. Basically an all rounder! Would be great to hear your recommendation. @@LaughingTeddy there's no leather wrapping anywhere only hard touch plastic even on the steering wheel. Just a casual fabric seats. No diamond cut alloys. No Adas or adaptive cruise control. Infotainment system is very tiny with some black plastic all around which doesn't look good for a seamless big display they put in. And even instrumenta console is also gimmicky, u get a tiny display in the middle and two big digit display on side. Talking about the sunroof, in india we have to keep it shut bc of dust. And it increases the heat even when kept it shut so a smaller one is sensible.
0:45 a few years back we used to get products like octavia, civic, elantra top end variants at 25 lakhs now these raised hatchbacks of which most are not are not safe and none has the quality ,drive quality and comfort (octavia and civic had multi link suspension at the rear which improves handling and comfort ) of the above 3 products.
You get independent suspension in XUV700 even today, 200ps plus 5 star rating. Many things are available under 25lkhs, you just have to be smart in chosing

You can consider provided vehicle is in good condition. Please conduct an inspection. Batteries are often disconnected if the car has remained in storage for long. So it’s unlikely there’s an issue there. However, you can request the showroom to change the battery if required, they will comply with such a request. Worst case scenario, you’ll have to bear the cost of the battery.

Those are compact SUVs. People want to buy mid size SUVs coz of more room and the bulky look or road presence they have and they are not as expensive as full size SUVs. Compact SUVs are similar to hatchbacks and road presence is poor. You shouldn't compare cars from different segments as it makes no sense. It's like telling why should I buy an iPhone when I can get all these features in a much cheaper Android.
Honda Elevate ZX cvt is more VFM product and latest SUV. Over-all an excellent car from Honda India. I purchased immediately when it was launched. Excellent driving seat with rear seat comfort and biggest boot.
Taigun for me. Safety is my priority. The features and look of the new gt sport model are fabulous. Much better than in the video above. In India, Safety needs to start becoming a priority. Kia and creta- very good but very unsafe. Poor Safety standards. Rating for child Safety is 2 star. Hyryder- such a great hybrid engine. But l took on look at the sunroof with a simple thin net like cover and l knew l would suffer in india.If you are a girl you will understand. Skin and hair health is a priority 😊The car gets extreme hot. There is no accessories available yet to help with the problem . Also they do not have good Safety rating. I dint look at elevate or xuv300 because l was in love with the Taigun and it's exceptional lava blue colour. In general for me the Taigun gt sport is beautiful inside out with good Safety and all the features l use. I know l won't have the amazing mileage like the Hyryder . But as a girl l can't have the sun piercing though my sunroof. 😂 lt was my 1st choice but toyota needs to think about Indian women. 😅
