I already passed the first ending on the phone at 60 fps, and on the maximum graphics, the game sat down the phone in 5 hours and the control seems to me even more convenient than this on the keyboard

Why lock the game to 60fps? Can you not unlock it and see how the game runs at a higher fps? I'm wondering if the steam deck can run games like this at 4k120hz with the appropriate adapter docked.

Hollow knight has a native Linux build so I would expect it to work on the steam deck

The idea is to get a sense of battery life. Locking it at 60fps gives a general idea of how long you can expect the battery to last.
