Escorts didn’t do their jobs! Had the advantages of height!! 190’s made quick work of those B26’s , excellent video!!

Just how much ammunition does a 190 carry? The MG 151/20 fired around 700 rounds per minute. The two inner cannon had 250 rounds per gun [21 sec of firing]; and the two outers, 140 per gun [12 sec of firing]. How did they reload in mid-air?

The ammo counters are on full display in the cockpit for you to see. German aircraft all carried considerably more ammo than allied fighters. I can easily get 5 or more kills from a single magazine. See my online PVP videos for proof of that.

      Armament on the Fw190-A6:
      2 x 7.92mm machine gun “MG 17”, 900 rounds, 1200 rounds per minute, synchronized
      2 x 20mm gun “MG 151/20”, 250 rounds, 700 rounds per minute.
      2 x 20mm gun “MG 151/20”, 140 rounds, 700 rounds per minute.
      A total of 2580 rounds.
The P47 had eight .50 caliber guns and carried 3,400 rounds.
In my arithmetic, 2580 is NOT "considerably more" than 3,400.
Luftwaffe ace, Heinz Bär said that the P-47 "could absorbe an astounding amount of lead and had to be handled very carefully". But, hey an armchair expert who has flown neither aeroplane [in combat or otherwise] is bound to know more because he's played a video game.@@BlueMax109
