  • We're back on the track in Leeds! We met up with Ethan, David and Andy again, who all featured on the channel back in December, to see how things are progressing after some altitude training. 6x500m with a 6min recovery meant some fast paces with the guys aiming for 1500m pace to sharpen up for some indoor and road races in the coming months.

    I love seeing pros do workouts that are technically "easier" than what a lot of high school and college kids are doing. I remember doing like 8-9 x 500 at mile pace in high school. In retrospect - it was overkill - doing 6 x 500 is PLENTY! Quality > quantity works!

    Question to David ........ If he has had an Achilles flare up, why not use some racing flats instead of spikes....especially as first track session back..... or use for first 3-4 and see if ok...then switch to spikes (not always easy with rec.)

    Interesting that they're doing drills on the curve. Is that just because they're doing a track session?

    • @agnidas5816
      @agnidas5816 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They warmed up on the straight. That track is 400+ meters ... so you are gonna hit all the corners doing 500m reps

      @@Run_Fast yes. I’d rather shorter rest that way I don’t dread the next rep and contemplate life for 6 minutes after each rep.

    "2 Mga Taga-Corinto 5:20-21"
    Kaya nga, kami'y mga sugo ni Cristo; ang Diyos mismo ang nakikiusap sa inyo sa pamamagitan namin. Kami'y nakikiusap sa inyo alang-alang kay Cristo; hayaan ninyong maging kaibigan kayo ng Diyos.
    Hindi nagkasala si Cristo, ngunit dahil sa atin, siya'y itinuring na makasalanan upang sa pamamagitan niya ay maging matuwid tayo sa harap ng Diyos.
    We were sent to speak for Christ, and God is begging you to listen to our message. We speak for Christ and sincerely ask you to make peace with God.
    Christ never sinned! But God treated him as a sinner, so that Christ could make us acceptable to God.

    • @liljemark1
      @liljemark1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really too much when you're doing these kind of hard reps. 1:4 to 1:8 work recovery ratio is warranted.
