Old guy actually moved out to lane 2. Usually they think they own lane 1 for their jog.

Realistically can someone whose 5km time at 16 is only 18:44 ever go pro? I'm new to running btw
Nobody can tell you that. It's unlikely, but it's always possible. There's a guy who ran 18:30 as a senior in HS and went on to make the Olympic trials in the marathon
I know yaseen abdalla (not pro but college indoor dmr winnner and a sub 4 miler) didnt start track till sophomore year and ran like a 6:50 mile that year

Noon question: Why do athletes do these workouts? Why not just run the 800m each time if that’s the race you’re running?
I have a question and i wonder how this guy do it. I tried to run 1:49 and my first 400was 54 but when i came to 600m mark i was frozen with lactic from bottom to top 🥴🥴🥴. I really dont know what to do to clear that threshhold lactic

I’m not getting the purpose of the person on the green bike if there is someone already on a second bike recording the runners. You’re just hogging the track and aren’t any better than the old man in lane 1. At least he moved to lane 2 to accommodate y’all but you’re hogging up lanes 3-6 along with using lane 1. Otherwise, decent content.
