I did this exact workout in college, minus the three 200m reps. I did one instead. 1:21.9 (went through 400m in 50… I paid for it during that last 200m lmfao), then 400m in 55, then 200m in 26. I felt pretty sore. This guy must be feeling alright since he is much much faster. I bet since our PRs are worlds away, both of us must have been using different energy systems, respectively.
@@legendaryfunny3568 ooohhh you looked up my TFRRS profile 😆 yeah, it was moreso me challenging myself in a time trial where nothing important was on the line, so that helped! 👍
I’m 11 year old girl and my 800m pb is 2:29 And then I watch this and see the speed he is doing his reps at and it the first time I’ve actually felt slow Guys this is an update I’m sure none of you will really care but I have just recently turned 12 and today I got a pb of 2:24!!
A long run is so over rated. 2 hour runs don't make a guy be able to run 2 x 52 second laps back to back. And why does his average mileage matter? As long as he's getting in his 3 or 4 quality sessions per week thr rest is just filler amd recover. No one ever asks how many gym sessions do you do per week? Yet that would help him more than a long run.
He said 4-5 minutes between the 600´s, and then two minutes rest before the 400m. The rest between 200s is probably a jogg back to the start I am guessing.
I got 800m 3:42 and my goal is below 3:15, I try my best and that is my maximum I dont know how to improve anymore. Anyone has a trick and tips to share with me?
i’m guessing u started running consistently pretty recently (maybe started a few months ago?) so i would say that you should focus on bringing ur endurance up. How much do u usually run on a normal workout day?
@@TataePeerawatLaoarun try getting to 8km or more a day try taking as little rests/walk as little as possible during ur workout (if u don’t already do that) and idk what ur gait is while running but make sure ur landing midfoot with every step and not at your toe area or heel. Also make sure u do time splits while running ur 800 time trial. Create a goal time that’s like 3-5 seconds below ur best (it’s seems small but if u keep doing it you’ll get there eventually). Let’s say you want a 3:38 800m time these are how ur splits would look like: 1st lap (400m): 1:50 2nd lap: (800m): 3:38 (the second one should be slightly faster so this lap is 1:48 long) your second lap should be shorter than ur first. in my experience, my coaches would always yell out the times as each person finishes a lap so u know how fast ur running. if u are going too fast from ur goal time then u might want to slow down if u know u won’t be able to keep the pace up. First 400m u should keep a steady pace. Next 200 u should go slightly faster. And the last 200 meters u should go for a sprint (if u are convinced that u won’t be able to sprint that long then save the sprint for the last 100-150 meters
So 2’ of recovery between 600 meters how much between this series and 400 and how much between this and the 200-meter series with pace recovery? Please answer it is important to understand the type of training
So do you take your EPO every other day, once a week, or every day? And what other PED do you use? Have you been using it for 1 year or 5 years? These are the questions that people want the answers to. Could you feel the improvement the same day as the injection or did it take a week or 2? -

The bigger question is. What does he do on his longer runs?? And how much miles an avg week?
why is that a bigger question? Probably not so long on Sunday, during his race period, than in the base phase.

I'd suggest a 5-6km easy tempo. Nothing too long. I do know 1500 meter runners insist on a 20k Sunday run. No idea if that's healthy.
1500 meter runner best suppliment name
Interval between two 600? and also if you can tell the rest intervals between other splits.
Made it look easy.
Yeah I guess that’s what a 1:44 runner does
How much easy running do you need to do to run a shorter distance like 800m or 1500m? Do you do a 80:20 ratio?
Nice!! What are they rest times in between
I wanted to ask a question, my daughter runs 800m U15 in 2:15 However first lap is 63 and second lap is 72. Where should she improve? Thanks
go ask to a coach
This will help me improve my 800
I hope so!
Can I ask the rest/recovery time for every run? Thank u in advance for the answer
I'll check
