MY husband & I were like that except he did all the cooking❤he loved to cook & I kept the kitchen & house clean❤We had a fantastic relationship until God called him home 1/4/2013😢❤❤❤
My husband is African American and I’m a Mexican woman. He loves this dish so so much and I’m going to attempt to make it. I’m a very good cook with Mexican food, but let’s see how it comes out. 😬
What’s not to love about you… beautiful, exceptional organization with your kitchen. Exquisite cooking style and not only is your Husband handsome but smooth, loving and catering. He is so appreciative of you. Love this… Beautiful Blessings to continue ❤
I love watching Africans cook. I’m African American - child of the diaspora. Our recipe are very similar. We just use different ingredients. I will definitely be trying this recipe. Thanks for showing how to prepare the proteins.
Egusi soup, your pronunciation is nearly correct. You did a good job. A typical Nigerian like me will add dried catfish, stock fish and a local spice..(ogiri). The egusi would be more, it seems like you used it sparingly. Everything you do in your kitchen is quite intriguing. The love you show is what I would love to have 🫣
Delicious! Much love from Nigeria. Usually, the fufu is put on a separate plate while the soup is in a bowl. But that notwithstanding, the presentation is beautiful, unique, and now I am craving egusi soup again. I just finished the last one i cooked. It is one of those soups that can last for days as long as you refrigerate it or reheat it regularly (for those who don't have a fridge). My tribe in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria calls the soup, 'Efere Ikon'. Also, you and hubby melt my heart with your love. Beautiful❤
@@TheAdegbesIs not because she's a Liberian but because she kinda like serving her food that way. We serve fufu separate from soup . It all depends on your choice 😉
Love the music, it takes me back to old shows on PBS that I watched as a kid. It's so soothing. Haha! I know you've heard this before, but your skin is gorgeous, and you are bold. Wearing white to cook a colorful soup. I would have spilled pepper juice or something on myself by now. lol
A soursop tree? That's a blessing, just like avocado trees. Soursop was expensive even when I lived in DR. A soursop smoothie is called chamPOla over there (milk, a bit of evaporated milk, sugar, Dominican vanilla extract, and frozen soursop pieces) one of the best things you'll ever try. Try the same thing with papaya or mango and add a bit of cinnamon this time... I love the taste of dried fish/shrimp in Nigerian and Ghanian food. Thanks for the content. The egusi soup with fufu looks GREAT
Looks delicious! Fellow Liberian here! I would love to try it this way too. A Nigerian lady at my church taught me. She put blended roma tomatoes and fried in the palm oil then added the ground egusi seeds then the meat and soup mixture, ground crawfish and lastly the spinach. It's one of my husbands favorite dishes. He's Nigerian! Oh and Nigerians love to use purple onions in everything. Love watching your videos!
Hey Christine I love the Liberian spaghetti. I love that I been cooking it once a week for me. I'm single so I can fixed it. Lol but I love you I need to get one of your cooking books ❤❤❤
Your dish looks lovely 💕 but as a Nigerian, the dish would turn out a lot better if you mixed in a lot more egusi, probably 3x of what was added, you'd mix the girinded egusi with water to make a thick paste and fry it with the palm oil without stirring or you could put in the paste(and let it boil a little without stirring) when you've mixed in the proteins and the stock to avoid oil splashing on that gorgeous dress! Much love form Nigeria 💕🇳🇬
Gorgeous couple!!!! The food looked absolutely amazing!!!!! Wishing this chocolate divine goddess a world of success and happiness and fulfillment and balance!!!! Love you to life!!!!
....dark skin is always beautiful and attractive. Let me start from there You hairstyle is a lovely signature....Lastly I followed your recipe to the letter, and wow!!! I am now a master. The man is also very supportive. Lovely....keep them coming. I have stolen your spice collection too.

I stopped at 13:39 because the part I needed to know looks like it's been skipped!!😮 When do you add the seeds? How much of the seeds go in? Do you Sautee them?? When did you add the spinach??🤔🤔🤔 Everything else I already knew but ima watch til the end in case you explain. Sighs....
Over here in Nigeria, most people don't use ginger and garlic in making the soup but Iguess I'll try this recipe fr. Some people even eat it with yam or rice. Ill definitely try your recipe!
The food looks amazing. Always wondered what was in Egusi soup. Thank you for sharing. May try cooking it this weekend. Temperature dropping a bit. Soup weather is coming.

❤ liked, subbed, comment, share. Really enjoyed watching you make this I will be preparing it again. My first time preparing it came out so well I was shocked! It is basically a stew, the most challenging thing was the fufu. Getting the right consistency. Once you get the hang of it it's easy.❤
