Hi I'm Margaret Cho and I'm so excited today,
I'm going to be interviewing my mother.
    Hey Mom.
Thanks for agreeing to be interviewed.
    Now--
I'm so glad, finally is time for my interview
because it's very important, I have to do interview
where everyone can hear what I have to say.
Now, what I wanna know is, you taught me so many things
like how to cook and how to sew and how to play guitar
and how to sing but you never taught me how to play golf.
    Why is that?
Okay the reason why I did not teach you to play the golf
because I start very late in life
so when I start to play, I was not good, I'm so good now,
if you learn from me now, it's so good, it's so good.
    So interesting, okay, next question.
You know, most people consider golf
    a white, rich, male sport.
How does being Korean fit in there?
I don't really know if golf is only white people
    because there's so much melanoma.
I mean, is it like a rule that you have to be
a white, rich man to play golf?
I don't know if it's the best thing for the white people
    because there's so much melanoma.
When I go, I have a lot of sunblock
and then I have also gloves and visor
and then they have, the white people,
they don't put this and then that's very dangerous.
Well Mom, I'm sure you've heard about how great a golfer
Kim Jong-Il used to be, I mean he got like holes in one,
I don't even know, do you believe any of these stories?
I don't know because somebody say,
Oh there's a pretty hole in one
but if I don't see, then I don't believe it
but then don't say that there because
they put us in a labor camp.
    Okay, last question, Mom.
What is it that attracts lesbians to golf so much?
    You know?
    The Diana Shore LPGA.
I don't know why lesbians like to go to see the dinosaur.
Just because you lesbian, you don't have to see dinosaur.
There is other kind of animal.
    Oh, Diana Shore!
    I was confused.
I thought you said it was dinosaur.
No no no, shh, no no.
Wow, well thanks Mom, we're actually out of time,
but thank you so much for agreeing to be interviewed.
I have my eye on you.
I'm still watching you out of the side of my face.
    Thank you.
I can still see you, stop it.
Thank you, thank you for joining us.
    We'll see you next time.
I don't know who I'll interview but it'll be just as good.
    I can still see you.

At my local course, there are dozens of Korean women just like this. They don't like the sun, that's for sure.

this was funny. I used to live in the Bay Area and the course I went to had a ton of Korean women players, all with the huge visors, powered push carts etc. There were great to play with because they knew all the informal rules like not stepping on your line or casting a shadow while you're putting.
