Seeing your collection is refreshing! I’ve only just started getting into fountain pens (I got my first one, a platinum preppy, this January) and now currently own two-my second one is a Lamy Safari in candy violet. Since I watch a lot of pen reviews, I get recommended a lot of currently inked videos. Some videos feature a MASSIVE collection, which makes me feel like I need to start purchasing more pens myself. This video just reminded me that being a fountain pen enthusiast ≠ being a fountain pen collector.
Oh man. Thank you for this comment, and yes, this is very true. I don't really like to have things that I can't possible use on a regular rotation. I feel really good about curating my collection to be only my faves, and , uh... the ones I can afford! :) Obviously this is subjective--everybody's needs are different.
There is nothing I love more on TH-cam than watching people write with their FP! Lol thank you for this fun video!!! I love the lamy black nibs, you should try the cursive one if you ever want to, it’s so fun!!
Love your videos! Silly question: how do you refill the pens? I’m totally new to fountain pens. I use microns mostly, but thinking about exploring fountain pens.
Thanks! Not a silly question at all-there are different ways of refilling pens. You can buy cartridges filled with ink or buy converters for your pen which can be filled with your own ink. There are several different types and it depends on the pen, but it’s not too complicated. There are lots of videos that go in depth if you’re curious. You could start with goulet pens-I think they have a good channel. I’m not the most knowledgeable.

I love that you love it. 😆 A cursive nib? Sounds fun!
My favorite is a Kaco edge. It was $10 at the time. $18 now.
Sam Flax Atlanta. I've been there. Kobe inks are available at Jet Pens and Pen Boutique, amongst others. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the tip about goulet pens. The thought of ink spilling everywhere is holding me back but I can get over that. Thanks again!
Hi, Vanness has that Kobe ink #54 that you are looking for.
Thanks! I’ll have to go looking for it eventually. :)
