Love this lineup, Erin! Everything is so beautiful. Since I’m new to the analog planning space and am a former bullet journaler, I will stick to my one-TN system. I just posted a walkthrough of it and I’m planning on keeping the same lineup of inserts, though I’m also toying with having a separate business planner. I’ve been in my standard TN since September so I’m shy to try anything too new for fear of abandoning it!

I know what you mean about having a place to keep goals and aspirations in a separate space. Ive struggled with how to keep that somewhere I would reference as well. It feels like pieces end up in different places each year. Ill be using the TAN as my planner this yr as well. Looking forward to see how you use it.

Hi Erin, thank you for sharing this. If you don't mind me asking, I'm obsessed with creating art (collages, watercolor, mixed media, etc.), not because I'm all that good but because it's the best way for my brain to decompress and recharge. I'm wondering if you have any tips on how I could add these visuals to my tomoe river paper planner without doing it on the actual paper, if you know what I mean. Like I love the look of watercolors on watercolor paper, but that's way too thick to tip in or glue in. Would love to hear your thoughts! As for vision boards, they are true magic for me. I'm very intentional with them and don't put "would be nice to do" or aspirational things on them. I take my time to curate images that capture my values and things I crave in life. No idea if that makes sense, but for me it's important to have a gut reaction to the photos for them to work. It also takes time. Like a few years ago I had an image on there of the dream house I'd one day design and build, and felt sad all year that it wasn't happening. I found that board this year after several moves and a new baby and guess what! I was looking at it unpacking in my dream house! 😮 I'd totally forgotten about the whole thing, but somehow it got cemented in my brain and I just kept moving toward it. I have other examples as well, but for me personally, the images really need to speak to me and sometimes the change totally happens in my head or my behavior instead of my environment. Hugs!

Love this so much. I end up with the he same issue. So many pretty planners so little time. 2026 I think (if I can make it work) I’ll just do weeks for works and Hemlock and Oak for memory keeping.

Your TN always looks so beautiful, so lived-in, and so loved! 🥰 I’ve had a similar experience using a TN for commonplacing. I can’t quite pinpoint why, but the size just doesn’t feel right for me to think in. It’s a strange feeling, and it always takes me some time to get back into using it.

Would love to watch your video as content sounds really interesting. However the uber brightness of the video is making my eyes hurt.

Helpful AND enjoyable, I will be using the Weeks for the first time this year. I am intrigued by the format since I don’t write a lot but like to jot down what I did everyday and accompany it with ephemera and/or stickers and sometimes photos and had previously been using a Traveler’ s horizontal 2 pages per week for this and could never fit everything that corresponded for the day. Even better, I now feel like I also have permission to abandon that format November (it is ridiculously chunky) and start anew in Dec. instead of waiting for JanUARY which I’ve never before done. I’m embarrassed to admit how many different planners I purchased this year with the expectation of employing for different purposes and because I wanted to try out new ones and hopefully settle on a favorite or two for the future. We’ll see!

This was so lovely to watch!! Can you recommend a sticker paper that is not a clear one? I have some matte ones but I’m looking for one that has a slight gloss if ykwim

The way that you journal scratches my brain just right. I don’t do very well with routines and organization either, but I often catch myself following these odd little rituals- like every new entry must be formatted exactly this way, or the font for the dates must be the same and never change- until the monotony catches up to me and my mind screams at me for a change. Your unpredictable, whimsical little doodles and patterns and fonts feel so refreshing in comparison. I want to be able to never unconsciously fall into a rut and then limit myself, within my journal and outside of it. Your journal is always an inspiration. 🖤

I really like how you’re using your Passport TN! I’ve had both the Passport and Standard, and waffled back and forth between the two for a while. I just started using the Standard exclusively, so my poor little Passport sits unused in my drawer. Your ways of using the Passport are inspiring because they wouldn’t really overlap with how I’m using my Standard, which tends to be my issue. Like “which is the source of truth?!”. So I like your use case of a solid expression of self plus references to use on-the-go. And you’re SO not the only one to have developed social anxiety since covid and becoming a mother. I’m right here with you <3

I have the same "rule" about lined paper - I just can't do it. Having that boundary has saved me from many regretful purchases! I recently came to the same realization about vertical weeklies and it's so helpful.

You’re not being ridiculous. I feel the same way. I never use lined paper; I don’t appreciate the constraint. I will write however large or however small or in whatever direction I wish to, thank you very much. *sniff* Your notebook is a place of safety and vulnerability, and one must first feel comfortable in order to be vulnerable.

Hi Erin, I just discovered your channel and I love your Common Planner. I was wondering how you attached the patterned paper to the front pages. I have cut out some paper but I am at a loss as to the most durable method to attach it so that the corners do not come up.

I too have an unusual amount out greens on my palette😂. What do you think of the Pith sketchbook, Erin? I like that they have a large size and that it’s lay flat, but is the paper better or about the same as Stillman and Birn?
