I think it was Elise Rose crochet and the Spoonie Stitcher who raised really good point about the Woobles; price actually includes a “crochet course/class” for a true beginner. It really shifted my perspective to think of them in that light, you know? I have just been thinking “they’re so expensive and no scissors! Grrr”, lol. I hear the Woobles pattern book is outstanding and there is a couple free patterns on the website….I’m thinking I’ll try those with my own yarn & see. Regardless! OH my word. I love the woobles Woodstock hook!!!! UGH, I wish they were not so high priced. They aren't available on the Woobles website right now and the Ebay and other listings are really high in price. I have not purchased any Woobles yet, but they look like good quality stuff! I like that their videos are very easy to find for your kit on their website. Great review! Love your bird, he is perfect! OH! and the yarn thing that tells you the weights, Very Cool :)
Thank you. I spin my own yarn so that is how I can tell the yarn weight of what I spin but I find it handy with mass-produced yarn too. Yeah the Woobles are high priced, I think I paid $50 for the Woodstock. I just bought the frog at Joann's for $30, I am going to try and get my husband to do it for a video 🤞🏻.
Yeah, I have never seen one before but I have never spun and know nothing about it. My hubby would never agree to crochet, zero patience for it. Tell him mine never ever would do it and maybe he will take it as a challenge lol good luck!!
@SpiffyHandmade 😅 yeah. I got it for him for his birthday on the 19 so we will see what he says. The other one I got for my 20 year old son on his birthday but I knew he would never let me film him. He helps me with my channel and told me from the beginning he would not be on it but he is why I started it.
They both came out awesome! I would be tempted to try both. I understand why the Woobles are the price point they are, however, I think I would try the red heart.
