Hi Greg, I recently had a 2 stroke mower that was locked solid….I even took the head off and tried to get trans fluid down the bore but no luck. I don’t have a press so couldn’t try that. In the end I threw out the old block and am putting a replacement on soon .
I'm sorry to hear that. I've had several in the past that the piston wouldn't move. When they do that sometimes you gotta loosen the connecting rod cap because it's seized on the bottom end. Other times. It got run without oil and literally fused the piston into the bore. Either way once you get to that point it's definitely time for some new parts. Thank you for watching. God bless
@@gregsmowersandmore5878 yeah well lve still got the old seized block in my scrap metal bin but have 2 good replacement engines in need of a deck so I won’t bother with the old one. Well done for getting yours going
Knight. I personally use Lucas land and sea. It's a synthetic oil that's good for pretty much all two cycle engines. I mix it at 32:1 and I've not had one single issue with it. God bless and thank you for watching

Great video. Get some really good gloves because that carburetor cleaner is 100% terrible for you! I used for years cleaning and Cancer found me! Knock on wood I'm a survivor but when u make these videos wear gloves and POST A DISCLAIMER ABOUT USING THE CLEANER PLEASE! Its even on the can labels, be smart!!😎😎
