- For a while, the Ferrari California had become a bargain - prices plummeted from the original $200K plus MSRP to mere pennies on the dollar - and all because the purists found the California to be the wrong sort of Ferrari - one that you can daily drive, and one that doesn't need painfully expensive maintenance.
Once the cat got out of the bag, prices started creeping up again, and now they're back were they should have probably been all along - with a very nice example at or near the $100K mark.

Bill a bargain Ferrari at the moment is the 456-456M. Can be had under 50k, available in both slush box and manual, nostalgic enough that it is still "mostly mechanical", pop up headlamps, and doesn't require too much of the grinding machine. These are stated to sky rocket in value in the coming years. Source? I have one that I would love to sell 😂

I got a nephew that's 31 years old, university education paid for by his grandmother, never had a job as a kid or adult, never paid for his groceries or drove to the grocery store because he never learned to drive ... plays video games every day and never paid for his own internet, has no friends other than those online and almost never goes outside ...and thinks he's hard done by ... the world is going to sad place soon ...

To be a kid in the 80s meant going around on mongoose bmx's searching out Ferrari's to de-badge.
Fun video. I always loved Ferarri. Regarding attention at 45:20... red is pure Italy, but black is a little more discrete if there is such a thing for Ferarri. Silver too, but I only like silver on some Ferrari models. I suppose there is white too.

2. The adjustments that had to be made to get the 6'4 Tom Selleck into the 'Magnum' car is a long list. 5'10 was HUGE for a Ferrari driver in those days.
Admittedly I don't know anything about Ferrari, other than my neighbour has a 1980's 328GTS or something like it that he drives about 6 times per year, but this car has an incredibly beautiful engine.

Yeah the PS button is launch control. It stands for "Partenza Sportiva" which means Sport Departure in Italian. Power start works too though lol.
