Styling is especially good considering the compromises they probably had to make to accomodate the hard top. Also, if the roof is closed, it doesn't look like an open top car with the roof up, it looks llike a coupé that made to be a coupé

I like how the fact that the double window switches work as A down B down and A up B up it allows you to have any configuration of windows up or down. I was about to praise Ferrari for good engineering when you moved onto the second engine *START*/stop button that can only stop the engine, and then I realized that the double window switches were probably wired AB/AB because it was simpler than wiring them up to be AB/BA...Gotta love Ferrari.
And yet still more complicated than separate switches lol. Italians…

When I was in Germany earlier this year, there was almost identical spec Portofino parked next to me in our hotel parking lot. Photos don't do it justice. Beautiful car.
photos dont do ALOT of cars justice, i remember seeing a chevy SS for the first time in person, in photos it looks dull, but in person man that thing has fender flares for days, and its wide as hell, while still being somewhat a sleeper. So i know what you mean lexus cars suffer from photos alot also.

I think the california / portofino layout is just perfect for a 2 + 2 cabrio. The back seats are small enough that they don't mess up the proportions of the car, and the roof is a fat simple 2 piece design that doesn't take up much trunk/boot space. It's perfect for those of us that only need back seats in emergencies, but don't like the look of every other 4 seater cab.

Hi Doug, FYI Enzo Ferrari Museum is in Modena and it's newer ; Ferrari Museum ( original) is in Maranello outside of Modena. How do I know ? It took some effort I found the one in Maranello also where they make and test them in the Fiorano testing facilities. They also kept different models between them.

It is literally a base model though. Base model doesn't mean its gonna cost the same as a Honda civic. As Ferrari sees it it is an entry level model for them. Your not their target demographic.
