Did anyone else look this up because their light Flickered and they're scared Shitless?
An Intellectual yes
yes and no my light was flickering and it sounded nice so I tried to search up a sound effect
The same thing happened in my garage. It’s flickering nonstop right now!
Facks
Nope just thought the light bulb was dieing but it went normal kinda scared now
Joe, I have two undercabinet flourescent lights with on and off switches on the unit. I have them hardwired to a motion switch. I usually keep one side off since its way too bright for me in the morning. When the lights are going out the light flickers? could the cause be the motion light. I figured this acts more like an on/off rather than a dimmer but I could be mistaken.
Not sure what your issue could be. Could it just be something normal when the light gets turned off because it's a small tube fluorescent? or did you change it out for LED yet the light fixture was initially set up for stand fluorescent bulbs & that could be causing the flicker? Not sure. Did you ever figure it out?
That’s so awesome. And bless you for being so honest. Thanks for the info too. I’m having similar issues too

If this was an electrician's fault, I wish electricians would just do the job right and do it right the first time. They need to double-check their work after they're done. I think the jobs they do have contributed to quite a number of house fires and loss of property or even human lives. Electricians cannot let themselves get overconfident and especially, not forgetful.
i have got a wall power source with the both switch damaged what do i do?
yes I wish after the guy installed the light switch he would've checked things out form both switches prior to calling this job complete.
Please explain...
STRANGER THINGS! THERE COULD BE A DEMOGORGON! IN YOUR HOUSE
XD
That whh I'm scared now of restroom
Funny I have heard that before!
Good video..thanks very useful.
May the Force be with you.....!
STRANGER THINGS ITS BARB
No, it's the Demogorgon >:)
AHHHHHHH
LMAO!
My grandpa today: I heard the lights don,t like you
Me: I heard the lights don,t light you
Me: LMAO
Boy that reminds me of a job I was doing at the golf club. There was a leak in the ceiling and upon closer examination I figured it came from the janitor’s closet upstairs. Sure enough, there was a hose that was left on a trickle because 1) the washer on the tap was not holding. 2) I removed the dripping hose, water stopped leaking through the concrete floor. I assumed it was a cracked drain and called the plumber. Well, he was up stairs and I was downstairs checking for leaks as he turned on the water. There was, he removed the drain cover and washed the dirt in the tub low and behold he found a hair line crack running along the tub and up one side. Tub is concrete, he can’t fix that, but did replace the washer $$$ and I will have to fix the crack myself. If I had looked closer and cleaned the tub I would have found the problem myself but because of my laziness it cost me.
Ha! See what I mean?!!.....Mr. Lazy....... :)
My living room did same thing there was 2 lights the right side kept flickering and it turned off but the other side was fine is it dangerous?
It could be dangerous depending what is causing the flickering to happen. with the light switch off get up there & make sure the light bulbs are tight as one could be not screwed in all the way...? You also could have a loose wire nut in the ceiling light or junction box....? could be something like that or even a bad light switch but if the light switch was bad I would think more of your lights would be flickering & not just a couple of them....You might want to get it checked out if it's still happening. Try changing out the light bulbs as maybe one or both of your bulbs are old & ready to burn out? If that doesn't work then I would think you might want to check out the ceiling fixture junction box which you would need to remove the light fixture or if the light fixture junction box is up in the ceiling then you will have to crawl! It could also be just a wire in the attic that was chewed on by a rat...?! You might want to check things out & let me know what you find. Thanks!
Nice, knowledge 👌
Thanks for taking time out to send me your message. Much appreciated!
You saved me a call to an electrician and a trip to the basement
Awesome!
I did it by hand at a friends house I pulled one of them out and then comes out same with putting it back on
Nice job with fixing it yourself. Thanks for your message...

I think I know what that dimmer switch without call on it is a Lutron switch the older version my dad got one of them

I'm honestly surprised it didn't start a fire. An inductive load on a dimmer that's designed for a resistive load? I would expect the switch to get *very* hot and start a fire.
Uberex, no.
CFL are not inductive, but are reactive. Basically a capacitor input, but rectified.
Well it had just started as the owner had recently had a faulty light switch replaced but the guy installed a single pole light switch where he should've installed a 3way light switch thus the flicker......on a single pole dimmer switch.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for your reply!
We all have our moments. That one was mine. I put on a dunce cap and sat in the corner the rest of the day pondering.
I'm sure you learned a valuable lesson.....
Yes I did 1) Don’t spend other people’s money so easily.
2) Clean around the problematic area to see if there are any other issues which you couldn’t see unless it is obvious.
3) If you can, fix everything yourself because money doesn’t grow on tress and you will have great satisfaction on completing your project yourself.
Dude!!!!! Great answer! You're learning..... Joe :0
It is so ironic how people learn by their mistakes. We take a lot of things for granted and rely on others when the simple truth is we all can do it ourselves to a limit.
In my case I finally ruled "Ghost or Ghosts" because when I asked questions, the light comes on and off. I even challenged the ghost and freak me out.
+argent2020 Wow cool!
It may sound funny, but I spoke to the ceiling fan lights and said: "So what happened?, no more light?!. And in a fraction of a second it flicked fo a second on and off. Then I said outloud again; Ok, let's paly a game. If you can hear me, light the light up again, and this time turned on for about two seconds and off. When the lights went off, then I tried moving the light bulbs with my hands to see if a loose connection or something, but nothing happens, no lights turn on unless I use the switch. Weird, I know.
Once on the internet I look for a video and I ended up with yours.
Such powers you have.....!
VideoJoeKnows It's weird but it's true too. I usually go to a monthly meeting here in town about paranormal activity. Well, at first we were a few, but now we're like close to 700 members and only 30 can go to the meetings, so it's been a while since I went last. However, I've been to a few investigation and they use all kinds of gadgets and one of them is a magna flash light which flickers when a spirit talks. I say talks because they also have ghost box that traps things they say from the other side. I've learn a great deal in those meetings but I'm sort of distant myself because I believe we're playing with fire. If you know what I mean?. lol
Hey just be careful you don't attract the wrong spirits!
Hi! Billy Mays here for the Handy Switch, the new line of this light switch that lets you
controls any lamp from anywhere.
Just pick the lamp you want to control and plug it in into the remote receiver, then simply
peel and press the Handy Switch in place. It’s that easy. And because it’s wireless, there
are no tools or wiring to worry about.
Place the Handy Switch on the wall where you enter the room, or next to your bed so you
don’t have to get up to turn off the light. Place one upstairs so you don’t have to go back
downstairs.
The powerful radiofrequency lets you control any lamp up to 50 feet away. Just plug the
lamp with the receiver, and place the Handy Switch where you want it.
And because it’s wireless, you could put a light switch where you never had one before.
Perfect in a child’s room to put the light switch within easy reach.
Or how about turning on all your holiday lights with the flick of a switch? You could
even pull one in your car so you could turn the lights on before you go inside.
With Handy Switch, the switch you need is always right at hand. So stop stumbling
around in the dark looking for the switch and stop getting out of bed just to turn off the
light.
Call now and you’ll get the Handy Switch for only 19.99. You’ll also receive our Handy
Stick Up Light absolutely free. Just peel and place in a closet, under a cabinet - anywhere
you need extra light.

its cuz your an electromagnetic being or soon having a spiritual awakening
That's what I thought! LOL
In fact my dad actually got two of them when it’s all the glow and one is new that doesn’t have the glow
Hmmm not sure why the one doesn't glow for you....
It could be thunder, low in electric bills, or maybe a power cut?
No, it's a Demogorgon XD
Probably a ghost though......!!
My lights sometime flicker because of loud sounds
Yes, and the loud sounds are probably the roar of a Demogorgon
What did you do to fix your issue?
the electronic arts demon is coming for you, in morse code your flickering lights translate to eea
EA will give him micro transactions
I got out of there as fast as I could & luckily I'm still alive!
I had a light ad lol
Anyway my light was flickering today in the living room and it flickered 3 times with no explanation
I have one word to explain your lights flickering: *Demogorgon*
Maybe it was trying to tell you something on three different occasions but every tie it tried to tell you something you were watching tv...?
X 10 smart switches that don't need a neutral will also make a CFL flash every so often when off because they draw a tiny current through the bulb ,, an incandescent bulb works fine ,, But a CFL lamp with an electronic ballast will charge up the start capacitor in the bulb from that small current in the lamp circuit then it will flash and discharge , the tiny current runs the electronics in the switch when its on standby waiting to turn on.. Dimmers will destroy CFL lamps if they are the non dimmable type because the ballast at low voltage try's to compensate by drawing more and more current to keep the lamp lit I have seen some melt and its a fire risk to subject then to the dropped voltage and electrical noise a dimmer makes ..
You bring up some good info for sure for that particular issue you brought up. In this case however it was because the electrician installed a single pole light switch at a location where there was initially a 3way light switch so that I think was causing the flickering as I show. Thanks for stopping by with your message though. Much appreciated!
THE CALL IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE!

@@redstonecommander5190 Nice...

Maybe!
ITS A HUNT
Right-o!
I would recommend turning it of it COULD be a electrical fire .
*off an* electrical
You could do that too.....then you could remove the wall switch to see what to do next or call an electrician if you don't feel comfortable with messing around with electrical. Thanks for stopping by...
Yes
Are they LED or Fluorescent? If they are Fluorescent then that’s the lamp starting up
I think ultimately was an electrician replaced a light switch with a standard light switch rather than a 3way light switch so that was why the lights were flickering....
maybe switch had problem need change new one
This particular light switch was working fine. It was just the light bulbs were not dimmable ones. Joe :0
Maybe change to LED bulb with dimmable
Yes that could do it...... It's always a good idea to look on the light bulb package (whichever type you end up using) to make sure you are using dimmable light bulbs & that the particular dimmable light switch is compatible for the type of bulbs you use. Things to check for sure, as you don't want this happening to you. Joe :0
