We went to Ober 2 weeks ago They are investing into refreshing the experience We found a bogo on supersavers We had a blast!! The coaster and bobsled were great The 2 nd lift took us to an awesome viewing platform/ zip line launch Glad we went!!
Thank you for the video and your review! We are planning a trip this year but our kids are 17 and 18 so well past any kiddie areas that we would have enjoyed when they were younger which is why these videos are so helpful. The views look incredible!
Thank you. My boyfriend & I are going this time next year. I was thinking of doing the Sky Bridge but after watching this I think I’ve changed my mind. We are 50 & 51 and the stairs would not be a good idea! Thank you!
Bad thing is that Anakeesta will charge you for every little thing, while Ober gatlinburg has a day pass that allows you to ride and do everything for a fixed price.
We are trying to figure out where to go during spring break in April this year! We were looking at going to Gatlinburg area/ Dollywood/etc or to Washington DC. Our kids are 3 1/2 and 6. They are pretty good travelers and are used to going out and about- but haven’t been to either of those places. What would you recommend for those ages?
Oh boy, I LOVE both! With those ages I’d probably recommend Gatlinberg. I’d wait a few years until your kiddos are a little older. They’d still have fun in DC but there is so much history that older kids seem to enjoy more. When we went to DC, our youngest was 6 I think.
Hi! We waited in line to get up for about a half hour. The ride up took about 15-20 minutes. Then we were up there for about 3 1/2 hours. That included a sit down dinner though.
This is the most inaccurate video I’ve seen lately of the 3 elevated parks. Ober mountain is way way cheaper than anakeesta and has way more actual attractions than anakeesta too. To do just the tram you say is $22 and yet anakeesta just to ride up is $35-$40 per person. Anakeesta being almost twice as expensive. If you drive up to ober it’s only $10-$15 for the whole car…not per person. So for $15 or less your whole family gets up too…they recently did a ton of renovations and have been adding more and more activities at ober too…also, like you said anakeesta only has 2 true attractions. By time you laid just to do those 2 you could have bought a unlimited pass at ober and did the over 10 attractions and unlimited amount of times for cheaper than the cost of just 2 attractions at anakeesta. Plus ober has a option to ride the tram and an unlimited pass for only $49…just the cost of one single attraction and ride up at anakeesta would cost you just as much if not more. There is way way more for kids at ober than anakeesta too
Hi, James Brown, great name! Thanks for watching my video 😊 This video was made in October of 2022 so prices have definitely changed! Last year the unlimited wristband at OG was $39 and did not include transportation to get up there. Now it is $49 and does, which is great! And yes, you can drive to OG for $10-15 which I did state in the video 😊 Good news, Anakeesta hasn’t raised prices since last year! It’s still $22 for kids and $35 for adults. The perk we loved about Anakeesta is that everything EXCEPT two attractions ARE included! Only a few of us wanted to do an extra paid attraction and with all the beautiful attractions that Annakeesta offers for free, in addition to Anakeesta being so new and beautifully maintained, it was a no brainer for us! This video states all prices and attractions so you can make your own decisions! The video is not about which place is cheaper, but which is best. It is my opinion that Anakeesta is better overall, all prices aside! Thanks again for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day!
I would see this video after buying Skylift park tickets and Googling Skylift park videos to show my wife. 😢 luckily I can always get a refund and buy Annakesta tickets instead.... especially with a 5 year old!

@@VOsTravelwithKIDS I’m sure we will. I’ve been watching all kinds of videos to figure out everything we are going to do. Never been before.
Anakeesta has always been my favorite to be honest it’s relaxing and so picturesque ❤
@@sseraj2898 it really is! I can’t wait to go back one day!
Thank you for this. My wife and I are seniors and are looking for good day activities in early fall. Annakeesta looks perfect for the two of us.
I hope you love it as much as we do!

If planing a trip would Anakeesta use a full day or should we plan other things for the same day?
I’d plan other things. We probably waited in line to get up for a half hour and then spent 2 hours at Anakeesta. Have a blast!
Hello from Gatlinburg TN!! Great job 🏞️🌄
Thank you so much!

I’ve heard it’s fun!
How long did y’all stay at Aneekesta? How many hours

The ober tram is the worst for the fear of heights. It’s so high up with nothing below you
Good to know!
