This song is from the sci fi movie "The fifth element" where Diva Pravalaguna sangs it. It was composed as as an alien song that humans won't be able to sing.
Yeah part of that singing was done on computer some sort of autotune I Forget the exact method used but it was made intentionally to be impossible and then Dimash shows up and goes "hold my beer"
There’s a couple of bits in the original song that ARE impossible to sing, which is why everyone who has covered Diva Dance, Dimash included, does something else for those moments instead. When it was written by Eric Serra who composed the piece, he thought that most of it wasn’t possible for a human to sing unaided but to his surprise Inva Mula (the soprano they used) vastly exceeded his expectations and nailed what he thought was about 85% of the song. The main bit that isn’t real is the run which is around 4:35 in this video. For the movie they sung each note individually then used sampling to make octave leaps and multiple sounds at once that aren’t possible with a single set of vocal chords and at the same speed or with the same instant change in pitch. Dimash, like ‘disneydiva7’ who was the first person I saw cover this song on here years ago, does something in the spirit of the original for that run but can’t copy it exactly because even he is only human and not a bird with two sets of vocal cords.
@@midnightcaretakers7954 yes, there are parts of the song that literally include double tone or polyphonic singing, which although possible to do, are not at that level of registry. In essence, the alien in the movie can do a double voice at the same time in some parts. Do note, Dimash sings this half a tone down (to help with the top note) but even sopranos would struggle with it, and it honestly is a typical technique used by plenty of performers, specially in a stage where you have to sing multiple songs, not just one.
Dimash sang this song in his 2,5 hours Bastau concert when he was already 1 hours 50 minutes in the concert and after he had sung an exhausting song while hanging in the air on two ropes. It’s crazy that he was able to sing the Diva Dance at that point.

We have to know he was singing this Diva Dance in the MIDDLE of his 2 hour 30 mins long concert in 2017. And you already reacted to some of his performances from this concert too! He sang songs and performances with elite quality level.. belting running flying with cable at waist, so much physical needs for 2-3 hours concert. Yet he does not miss a single note for every song! That’s insane!
@@warcross0429 A mistake then. I watched the concert, and this song is not live. So it doesn't matter if it is in the middle of the show or the last song.
Lots of people have tried, with very mixed success. For the movie, they taped an opera singer, note by note, then assembled it together manually. They wrote it thinking it couldn't be sung. BTW, did you see that Geoff Castellucci, from VoicePlay, just released The Misty Mountain on his own channel? If you love those deep notes, this one is a monster. And fun. What's better than listening to Geoff? Listening to 4 Geoffs....
The soprano they used actually sung about 85% of it if you read the interviews they did. The composer underestimated what was possible and in the end they only needed to use editing for a couple of small parts… which remain impossible to sing due to the huge interval jumps at speed with instant changes of pitch and more than one note being sung at the same time. I think of all the covers Dimash is as close as anyone has gotten to the rest of it though.
At the time he singed Diva Dance he was already performing for 1:30h (the official mv has 2:24:55h duration) in he's BASTAU 1st solo concert in Kazakhistan 2017, was in he's 22 yo. after he's smashing success in China ... Try to react in this same concert, to "Akuim" (my swan) a duet with he's voice mentor and teacher during he's PHD graduation... (then go se the official mv at Dimash YT channel... yep... nothing compres to it...
To complement what you have just said about singers, I have seen another Atalian vocal coach last night who tried to sing Dimash's notes, after which she said "Dimash made her do crazy things that she was not doing before".
You need to watch the Bruce Willis film Fith Element. The Blue Alien Diva sings this song which is meant to be unsinkable by humans. So much so that the soprano acress was unable to sing it so it had to be digitally enhanced, but if you know the song you can see Dimssh can do it perfectly. He had been singing for quite some time but he carried on with many more songs after this. His Bastau concert 8n 2017 was huge with around 40,000 people and it was a very long one. He is unsurpassed ❤

Dimash is amazing to pull this song off. A few female singers have tried to do this song. But this performance is so close to the Movie. And the movie I believe was computer manipulated.
Only computer manipulated in a couple of places. The composer himself said in an interview that the soprano nailed 85% of the song unassisted and he underestimated what the human voice could do when he wrote the song.
There are a few (very few) people who have sang this but he is the only male vocalist I know of who does it and he does it perfectly, Jane Zhang and someone else also did a very good rendition.
I feel the significance and impact of this is a little lost on people who have not seen the movie- and don't know about its history of people attempting to sing this 'unsingable' song as close as possible to the movie version. To FULLY get it the same as the movie really is impossible- but amazing singers like Dimash have to skip/change very little of it. nobody else has got this close :) But yes a few others have attempted it- all women- and some do it pretty damn well- like they might nail some bits but other bits not so good or changed a lot- none as good as Dimash ofcourse- i mean- its dimash :) That aside, you're reaction was great :) If you want to see the origional movie version im sure its on YT. The first half of the song in the movie dimash skipped here is just a famous aria- forget which- then there is this section + a few cut bits. Apparently for the movie an opera singer did 80% of it but it was tweaked and modified and bits done with computer- because its an alien Diva with an inhuman range.
I have said it before just when you think you know what Dimash is going to do next your already wrong. As for us mere mortals its part of the beauty of Dimash he makes us want to improve ourselves not only as singers (which im not) but also as a person

As someone has mentioned already, from the film "The Fifth Element" starring Bruce Willis and the composer wrote it thinking no human would be able to sing it. To date, there's Dimash, a young Armenian girl and a woman (opera singer) who can sing it almost perfectly.
Diva Dance was first presented in the movie Fifth Element (1997) with Bruce Willis. The song - in the movie - was sung by a blue alien and was reportedly impossible for a human to sing. (The movie version was synthesized.). Many people have since tried, but Dimash is truly the only artist whose versions I enjoy.
👏👏👍👍💕💕💕💕🌷🌷🌷🌷Diva Dance is a song from the movie The Fifth Element where it is sung by a blue alien diva. It was recorded by a soprano but it was manipulated digitally in some places, like for example that infamous 11-note bar run. A few female singers have attempted it, mostly by modifying it slightly. Dimash is the only male singer to have performed it. And the only one to sing well the low notes., Here is an early clip of Dimash singing the full Diva Dance, including the aria “Il dolce suono” preceding it, though on a lower octave.
This is a soundtrack composition from the 1997 film "The Fifth Element" by Luc Besson. In the film, several opera singers were recruited to record this soundtrack and the final song was mocked using a computer. Since then, some daring performers have tried to play this track live. In my opinion, Dimash did it best at the current time.
'Diva Dance' is from the movie 'The 5th Element' where there is an alien who sings this. The song was designed to be impossible for a human to sing. In the movie the blue alien sings this and they use a lot of computer stuff to pull it off along with a soprano singer. No person was ever supposed to be able to sing it - yet here is Dimash doing just that. :) Thank you
No singer in the world can sing this aria so purely, accurately and in his own way as Dimash!))) Any of his cover just kills the original! And Dimash performed his cover on the aria, and not the aria itself. But why take this into account, the main thing is to get a reaction to your video.))) In the comparative video, you can clearly hear that he not only sang for the man and the computer, but also took the final note higher than it was in the original performance! In the film, staccato is performed by a computer, a rather crude job. Dimash made a living voice of a man and made much more elegant. What can be compared here?))) However, to compare the live concert performance of a male singer who worked on the stage. Dimash can do anything. He has every right to be called the best voice in the world. His voice is not called in vain cosmic, but Dimash himself is an alien from another Galaxy.
Diva dance is a song from the movie the 5th element. The song was created using computers to be impossible for anyone to sing. Several world class singers immediately went yeah right we are going to sing it to prove it can be done.

Blue Alien: hold my tentacles
His version of this is amazing AF. You're always so positive and excited and happy for each reaction. That's much needed.
You will be more surprised after reading the Diva dance was composed for the film The fifth element and it was sung by a soprano and a computer in those notes the human voice can’t reach. Many have tried but guess what? Dimash’s rendition is absolutely amazing!!! Best vocalist in the world!!!!! ❤️🎤🔝💯‼️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. #dimash 🙏🇰🇿♥️Thanks for your reaction to Dimash's singing and artistry. Please, keep on reacting to his videos. ♥️From Portugal 🇵🇹
This man is out of this world! Have never heard a singer do what he can do! Mind blowing! Great reaction ❤️
I love how Dimash performs this. I hope you're doing well in Texas and that you found your religious and political niche. Thanks for celebrating diverse artists like Dimash, Pentatonix, and Morissette!
What you said is, either a lie or a mistake....
@@javiergambito3352 why? It was in the middle of a 3 hours concert
@@warcross0429 A mistake then. I watched the concert, and this song is not live. So it doesn't matter if it is in the middle of the show or the last song.
@@javiergambito3352 it is live, he actually makes a little mistake in the song vocally right before the run.
@@javiergambito3352 are you sure is not live? For me it is live
Thanks for your great reaction
Hi from KYRGYZSTAN! Thanks for your reaction!

He is an alien...sang a impossible song without autotuned. Your reaction really explained everything about Diva Dimash..more or less.
This positive attitude was exactly what I needed today.
Una excelente reacción. Me gusta mucho tu enfoque
Dear Danielle Marie! This summer Dimash Kudaibergen will participate as a guest in the Republic of Belarus at the 30th contest "Slavic Bazaar" in the city of Vitebsk. Dimash will also be a member of the jury of the Slavic Bazaar contest from Kazakhstan, where he will evaluate the performances of young singers from different countries.Come to Belarus for this contest and listen to Dimash's live performance.
This song is from the movie "The Fifth Element". You NEED to see his new video for his song "Your Love". Yes a video like an actual music video. It's very cool! Keep your videos coming as well... LOVE THEM!

The Diva Dance - my favorite piece from The Fifth Element. Dimash did a fantastic job for a song that is composed to be humanly impossible.

The day I am NOT surprised by DIMASH is the day I am wearing a toe tag...just saying...🎹🙀
Dimash is amazing to pull this song off. A few female singers have tried to do this song. But this performance is so close to the Movie. And the movie I believe was computer manipulated.
It was.
Only computer manipulated in a couple of places. The composer himself said in an interview that the soprano nailed 85% of the song unassisted and he underestimated what the human voice could do when he wrote the song.
Dimash fantastic!!!🥰 Thanks ☺️☺️👍
There are a few (very few) people who have sang this but he is the only male vocalist I know of who does it and he does it perfectly, Jane Zhang and someone else also did a very good rendition.
I feel the significance and impact of this is a little lost on people who have not seen the movie- and don't know about its history of people attempting to sing this 'unsingable' song as close as possible to the movie version. To FULLY get it the same as the movie really is impossible- but amazing singers like Dimash have to skip/change very little of it. nobody else has got this close :)
But yes a few others have attempted it- all women- and some do it pretty damn well- like they might nail some bits but other bits not so good or changed a lot- none as good as Dimash ofcourse- i mean- its dimash :)
That aside, you're reaction was great :) If you want to see the origional movie version im sure its on YT.
This is my favorite version, super cool😎
Dimash never stops to surprise me
Just in case you didn't know this is from the soundtrack "The Fifth Element" 1997 Originally sung by Albanian opera singer Inva Mula-Tchako this is amazingly sung by Dimash
Dimash is incredible.....
I love your enthusiasm
Dimash is not from this planet. Nobody will ever dare to cover any of his original songs if he has any. One of a kind.
This song Dimash is singing is first seen in the sci-fi movie "The Fifth Element" - starring Bruce Willis and Mila Jovovich. Great movie by the way, but in the movie there is a blue skin-coloured alien woman singing the song Dimash is singing. It is supposed to be impossible for the human voice to do (was now lol), it is a computer generated song with some notes from another opera singer, but as you can see here, Dimash nails it! :D
This is a song from the movie Fifth element.Luce Besson movie with Bruse Willis. And there is a Diva Plavalaguna. And she sings it.
Hi Coach, l recommended another angelic voice male singer in China, His name call. ZHOU SHEN, He is one best vocalist in Asia, His voice where some of female vocalist can't even reach then high tone, which this guy can reached.
Song to recommend you to react.
Big Fish 大鱼(his original song)
Monster
My Memory
Scarborough Fair (with the choir)
My heart will go on etc..
Sorry, the best vocalist in Asia is Dimash! 😉
Magnificent performance. Bravo Dimash.
This may be my favourite performance of diva dance I have seen by Dimash, but I love the duet/medley he did in China of diva dance and drunken concubine
Hello. I always follow your reaction to Dimash. Do you remember the song, love is like a dream? So there is a reaction from male vocal coaches with Russian roots. They literally understand what the song is about. Oh my god ... they're crying ... don't know the correct subtitles for this song? yes this is a cover .. but with what soul does Dimash convey this meaning .. my heart also begins to pound quickly
Hi, love you reactions, you are so natural and cute, I really like Dimash, hes is the best singer in the planet, man or woman, please react to Across endless dimensions by Dimash, you gonna love it, #suscriptionsquad
Dimash 4ever🙏♥️
Hi Danielle, you should view to Dimash in concert with the song “Know” but call vocalize
Another artist to check out w/ similar vocal range (he has an A9-not certified) is Nicola Sedda. Check out All By Myself (cover), Colors, and The Miracle (my favorite). Use the album Topic (no distortion added). Very pure voice.
Funny story, this is how I found out about Dimash: I was obsessed with Diva Dance that I tumble down on this performance. After that, I was like "Who is this guy? I need to hear more of him!" That was at early 2020s and stop listing to him eversince!!!!!
HOMERUN with the bases loaded, out of the Park!!! 💥
And the only one to sing well the low notes.,
Here is an early clip of Dimash singing the full Diva Dance, including the aria “Il dolce suono” preceding it, though on a lower octave.
Amazing Dimash ❤!
I love the girls has a beautiful smile. Ma'am, when you smile I smile too ❤️🤫🤭😂😂 You have gorgeous face and smile.
See dimash : the crawn... you liket 🤩❤👍
@2:02, it's because this song is from the movie The 5th Element...they'd made it with computers to be "unsingable"
Danielle please react to CEM ADRIAN singing “Sommertime” he is from another planet, he will impress you
Dimash is a gift ☺️
Hello Danielle, please react to Dimash- know (vocalise) kiev concert and moscow concert 23/03 (fancam) 😊
:) Thank you
INCREDIBLE!!! THE BEST!!!!
No singer in the world can sing this aria so purely, accurately and in his own way as Dimash!))) Any of his cover just kills the original!
And Dimash performed his cover on the aria, and not the aria itself. But why take this into account, the main thing is to get a reaction to your video.)))
In the comparative video, you can clearly hear that he not only sang for the man and the computer, but also took the final note higher than it was in the original performance!
In the film, staccato is performed by a computer, a rather crude job. Dimash made a living voice of a man and made much more elegant. What can be compared here?)))
However, to compare the live concert performance of a male singer who worked on the stage.
Dimash didn´t know that the Diva´s voice was created on computer...🤣👍
