Its more impressive the fact he had been singing and dancing for 1 hour 45 minutes before he did this
This performance was near the end of an almost 3 hour solo concert, he is just phenomenal. He actually went higher than the Blue Diva at the end 😄💖
And just after one where he also dances and plays drums. I mean that the previous song was physically demanding, the sweat in his hair and face is noticeable and says it all. Yet, his breath control and pitch in Diva Dance are perfect.
When I saw the 5th element, i never would have thought any human being would actually be able to sing that diva song without computer assistance. Incredible.

I think Dimash is the perfect, or at least near perfect, combination of genes (whole family is musical), natural talent and absolute devotion to development of his musical skills which is also his highest passion.
My guess is that this will always be a rare thing. Even if someone tried to be like Dimash and gave it their absolute all, I think only 1/1000 or less might succeed.

If there is to be another Dimash, I don't think we'll see him for a while. You have to have a very special physical ability and train it to the nth degree starting very young. None of this would work without that guy having the interest in music and the intelligent discipline to develop his voice and his art. How Dimash spends his time not singing is just as important as the time he does because a voice like his can be wrecked in a matter of weeks should he not take care of it.
I would emphasize the importance of art because without his artistic sensitivity, Dimash would sound much less impressive. Dimash's epic performances would just be "notes" if he weren't able to combine all these different techniques in a way that tells a story that is in tune with the emotional heart of the lyrics. Also, Dimash had the advantage of being trained classically but growing up in a country that is a cross-road of many different musical traditions. We have never seen a "Dimash" before because there are so few where you can expect all of these elements to align in a single person.
I agree with you and I would like to add that Dimash is a humble and great human being.

Agree! Dimash is unique. All the elements and support were there for him to succeed, but the drive, the will to push his own boundaries that is all him. I think he will be remembered amongst the great artist likes of Mozart Amadeus, Micheal Angelo, and now Dimash Kudaibergen. Great Reaction!!!

Yes, I agree with the “Ubervocal” comment. Dimash had responded in an interview, that his vocal chords are different than most; and He also stated that his born-with talent is 1% and the required work is 99%. Dimash has College and University degrees with Major in Vocals. He has recently defended and been awarded a Masters Degree in Music Composition, and has been invited by the University to pursue his PhD. I believe Dimash is a Musical Virtuoso of our time. Dimash is a dedicated musician and continually works hard to improve his Skill-sets, Art and performances.

I hope that Dimash inspires others to believe in and pursue their own gifts. For me, the bar is simply an imaginary line that no one needs to attempt to reach. He has a gift that few have ever held, and even fewer have been able to develop. We can (and do) stand in awe of what he brings to the world, and we can respect the fact that he has had tremendous support in manifesting the vision he has carried since early childhood. He has also worked (and continues to work) tirelessly on the path of perfecting his craft. Peace and healing, waiting world; embrace the magic.

Hallo Ken. Dimash is a rare gem. I will not go into the technical details of his voice, because I am not a specialist, but I know one thing for sure. In my entire life, no singer had moved me, I thought it was my fault - until I heard Dimash singing. And I think this is a measure of a singer's greatness - when a man with chest tightness, tears in his eyes, forgets that he has to breathe while listening to him sing.

This was his first concert after arriving back in Kazakhstan from China with 30,000 + (12000 having travelled from around the world to be there) & this was close on 2 hours into the concert! Your question about "another" Dimash makes me wonder that if there is another 5 year old out there with a great talent for singing, will Dimashes success and unique abilities be a factor in trying to make a clone? It may be possible that another Dimash already walks this planet. Waiting to be discovered. But my instinct tells me that Dimash is a one in a hundred year phenomenon. And I feel sorry for those with even great talent to be put in Dimash's shadow. Any singer in their right mind would love to have Dimash's abilities. And with people like you and the other Vocal Coaches out there that react to and study Dimash's technique, I'm sure anything is possible. But near perfection is VERY rare and hard to copy.
you would have said the same to Dimash when he was 5, trying to be better than whoever was considered the best male singer back then. Nothing is impossible.
The only other 'Unicorn' I see in the world at the moment is Angelina Jordan - no one can see her rendition of 'I put a spell on you' (at the age of 9) and not realise she is another 'unexplainable' prodigy. If she can fully develop her still very young voice I believe she can become comparable to Dimash. Though I would not want to see them compared competitively since they are both so very different stylistically - let's just enjoy these gifts that we've been given.
The only young singers that i can imagine that is comparable to what dimash's doing is daneliya tuleshova and diana ankudinova. Both are unique. Most kids today is good but most likely on a mainstream side of the music which is off. You can only find a really unique ones picking unique piece of music that is not heard of in the mainstream. Using different styles, tones in one song, those for me is the definition of unique.
@@Rosannasfriend The best male singer before Dimash did not have the range, or other abilities that Dimash has. So your comparison is off. I also was not saying that it is impossible for someone to reach Dimash's abilities. In fact I said "Anything is possible", which is the same as "Nothing is impossible". I was just speculating that the pressure to become another Dimash could be detrimental to a future artist. Or it could be just the inspiration that artist might need to become the next Dimash. I am open to any possible outcome.

He is a total innovator and path blazer. He was originally groomed to do strictly opera like his mother. He left that path because he felt classical was too rigid and strict. Now he’s finally free as an artist to show off all his favorite influences, vocal techniques, and genres. “All by myself” on The Singer is a great example of this and my suggestion 😎

I am happy you've done another Dimash reaction. I did hope you would "unpack" this a little more and talk about what he's doing in different parts. Anyway, I kind of had the same thought as you about others following in his footsteps. I do think we are seeing amazing vocalists from around the world getting more recognition, mostly due to TH-cam and other social media. While I have seen some other incredibly talented singers on these platforms, I have never seen anyone on Dimash's level. Even if someone comes along who has the special anatomy, dedication to their craft, and professional training for many years, they still probably won't have that special something that Dimash has. He has a unique ability to really touch people and that is something you have to be born with.

"Vocalise" from Dimash's Arnau concert tour (posted on his official channel) would be amazing to react to, as it's different from anything you've heard from Dimash before- this version is sung without lyrics, is mostly improvised (his scatting blends Western and Arabian styles), and is incredibly raw and intimate despite being in a concert setting.

@@kriknut1 The "Know" variant has lyrics.The one without lyrics is called"Ascolta la Voce".This is the original version Igor created for Lara Fabian.He thought of rearranging it and add lyrics specifically for Dimash,to suit his voice.Dimash preferred the lyricless version in his latest concerts.

Спасибо Вам за ваш комментарий и уточнение по видео для Кена! Смотрел ещё видео, где Димаш исполняет эту песню, но в этом ролике он спел удачнее я бы сказал водопад голоса сверху вниз и обратно. Песня без слов, в курсе, что сочиняли не для конкретного певца и с помощью электроники и всяких студийных эфектов. В оригинале этот водопад звучит неестественно и электронно. Но Димаш спел живьём и в 100 раз красивее, чем в оригинале. ДИП ДИП УРА это было замечательно, божественно, космически! Да он выглядел уставшим и потным, но он был распетым, может именно это сыграло свою роль и он спел эту Диву с этим водопадом намного удивительно красиво и оригинально!

For information, Ken: -This is the concert of Bastau 2017 (Beginning), almost immediately after Singer2017 in China. Dimash's first solo concert in his homeland. The song was sung after 2 hours of the concert, at the very end. Look at how tired he is, all in sweat, and he showed it at the end .... Bravo. Great reaction, Ken.

I think this is the closest anyone have managed to sing this song without a computer, even closer than other version Dimash singed. Here he does a much closer and better approach to the impossible part than the other version, which it's impossible for a human to do it 100% the same anyways. The style Dimash usually sings is not really my cup of tea, but it's always amazing and a pleasure to hear him singing. Maybe one day he reveals from which planet he's from :).

A couple of other relatively older Dimash suggestions : "Sinful Passion" from Sochi has some versions with Eng. subs, and his Singer 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello".
His Sinful Passion in his ARNAU KINETIC VOICE CONCERT is very beautifully done.....more warm and 'closer' to the audiences.

Thank you for your great reaction. You asked if there are artists who reach out to Dimash. Here are three. All of them are from Kazakhstan and all three were in contact with Dimash in different ways. Eset for example had performed one song together with Dimash on Dimash‘s solo concert in Astana. And the link is a song Dimash sings at every concert. The three are still very young but I think they possibly could reach out to Dimash.

I don't know if anyone has suggested it but just in case listen to Confessa + Diva Dance it is wonderful! My favorite is Lionel Ritchie's Hello that Dimash does.
The chance that it will be another singer at Dimash's level is minimal. He has the physical benefits, born with a absolute pitch, a special uprising, he is intelligent, hardworking, determined and patient with the right education, very good teachers and supporting family. Many good singers have the same range and can sing different genres, but I don't think there is someone else who is able to sing and switch between the genres the way he does. People are not on their feet because they are not like the U.S. audience who show their appreciation by giving an standing ovation. The people in their country are appreciative but clapping their hands is enough to show their appreciation. It is a matter of cultural differences. They are similar to Russian audiences who are reserve and do not create much noise. With all due respect, those people in the audience do not know what they are witnessing. They don't seem to understand that talent like Dimash comes once in a lifetime.By the way, we are very pleased to see you back to Dimash.

Perhaps the current young singers with exceptional talents, though all three are females, are Angelina Jordan, Diana Ankudinova and Daneliya Tuleshova. However, Dimash has a level of skills that’s way beyond his current age and his mastery over his vocal is one in a lifetime.
I love listening to Dimash songs. Go for 1) Sinful passion 2) your love 3) love is like a dream 4) Screaming 5) across endless dimensions 6) unforgettable day - gakku festive. He is king of vocalist. I recommend you queen of vocalist from South Korea. Her name is Sohyang a cancer survivor. She doesn't go for fame and wealth but just want to sing to inspire people. She is a devoted Christian. Look for songs where she performance at singing competition at Immortal Songs 1) Arirang Alone 2) Bridge over troubled water 3) lean on me 4) I have nothing 5) you raise me up.
