    For the sake of context since a lot of people don't seem to get it:
    This is the route if Batman dies in the explosion and Jason decides to not kill anymore. He takes on the Red Hood in order to lure Joker and becomes a vigilante again. When he finally catches the Joker, Jason learns he was still killing people as the Red Hood but he repressed those memories.
    In other words, Barbara and Dick are angry at Jason because he was still as violent as he was before and never turned a new leaf even though Jason thought he did.

      @officialshow2937  4 ปีที่แล้ว +408

      Correct! If you choose the path where he gets more violent tho instead of trying hold back basically this is the option leading. But I like this.

      Jason literally killed people. If you kill it’s hard to forgive. If you break a code it’s hard to forgive a brother in arms. Jason did both simultaneously. He betrayed their trust, their code, their mission for selfish revenge as a way to cope with trauma. The trauma doesn’t justify murder, it only gives context that doesn’t erase the betrayal and crimes Jason committed.

    I really dislike how pretty much every single ending either guilt trips Jason for killing the villains who hurt countless more people or still guilt trip him for even thinking about wanting to kill the villains but still showing mercy. I haven't seen Jason once get a happy or satisfying ending and that sucks. Think about it in this way, if a person in real life shoots another person with the gun in the name of self defense, does that mean they had "one bad day" and are suddenly the Joker?? Fuck no! This never ending guilt tripping is such BS.

He did exactly what Bruce would've wanted him to do, to not kill the Joker and seek revenge. Yes Jason killed others, but he needs his family, support and positivity. He doesn't need to be betrayed by them, Barbara should've been there since Joker was the one who put her in the wheelchair. Dick should've been more understanding and sympathetic towards Jason. What about Alfred? Where's Alfred in this!? Gordon looked torn when he saw the Joker still alive so why would he go after Jason? There's no need to pursue or him hunt down

    The only way to beat Joker and have a happy ending at the same time is to stop reading Batman comics. DC will always keep Joker alive, or else spark some sort of horrid drama from his death. Joker is a fictional character who exists in the minds of the readers alone, stop reading their comics and he will either cease to exist or be written out of continuity by DC.
    There are no happy endings in the Batman universe. Ever. I'm glad I stuck around with the series long enough to see the Arkham games, but enough is enough. I'm so sick and tired of reading about a villain who wins no matter what the heroes do.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Jason just stab him in the eye with a butter knife???
    I know its just a movie and anything goes, but this is a movie that has just enough reality to imply that these people have similar anatomy to our own.
    If you watch that scene, that knife (that blunt, point-less, butter knife) didn't go very far into Joker's eye, and he kind of just bled out for a while until he "died".
    The eye is not a fatal organ, nor did he bleed out that much for him to have died. Its almost implied that Jason dug it in until it stabbed his brain, but the knife only went in a few inches.
    Joker suffered a similar injury in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Return where Batman hits him in the eye with a baterang, and he just goes about on a killing spree like if it was nothing.
    TL;DR Jason couldn't have killed him. He didn't hit him hard enough for it to be fatal.
