The vivo X100 Pro looks great at first glance.

However, it is also true that many people around the world have doubts about whether backdoors are installed in smartphones made in China. I think what will be important in the future is building trust so that electronic devices made in China can be used reliably. When that happens, Chinese smartphones will dominate the world.
Nobody gives a shit about backdoors. Majority of people ain't that important for the chinese government to spy on. What they should improve is after sale services and reduce ads (for certain brands).

Vivo does it for me, unexpectedly . The video stabilization is so crisp and perfect. It's better than my old 2020 Redmi 9T😂. It was my first love from the Chinese front then but wasn't shipping to Swaziland 🇸🇿 then. Does it have IR Blaster though as Xiaomi kills with that tech which i truly like. I just love the Xiaomi Eco System and love the energy and innovation from this company. I'm eyeing Xiaomi 13 Pro. Salute to S23/24 Ultra, iPhone, Google Pixel, Moto, OnePlus, Nothing Phone, ZenFone, Oppo etc. we have the best tech, ever.
Even only having 1080 I prefer the front camera of Vivo. I see less beauty filter and more contrasty vs pink on IPhone. UW for IPhone clearly. Video recording I would say a tie...in some details Vivo is better(night, fluid video) and in others IPhone(zoom dynamic range), but I see them very close. IPhone as always very bad sound when some wind is present.

Close one, but I think Vivo wins more often and if someone does not prioritize selfie camera, but the main ones, then Vivo provides better photos. I wouldn't even care about high zoom performance, barely anyone really uses max zoom on a daily basis, if you often do that rather means you are a poor photographer, but when it comes to night photos it's all Vivo and low light photography is something that happens for a regular Joe all the time. But let's remember that this is a middle man vs top tier iPhone. Let's wait for X100 Pro+ versus that iPhone, then we'll see what's what. For now looks promising. Can't wait for more comparisons like that, especially with Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Oppo X7 Ultra included. Then Ill choose my next phone :D Merry xmas

Love your comparisons but the front facing camera vido on the iPhone at night is very soft and stabilization is bad how can you say it's better?
Vivo front video is very bad, 1080p only. Spec from 2014. The stills are poor too, bad hdr.

@@corsinivideosBro. Higher resolution doesn't equate to much better quality. It's still going to be how they tuned the camera software for the phone. Just watch the video. Vivo sometimes dominated the Iphone in selfie video department with better facial exposure and contrast.

The X100P was a bit underwhelming and lackluster when compared to the X90PP upon launch, but it's received so many firmware updates in just over a month that it's now become a lot more optimized both in the camera and battery life department. Hopefully Vivo keeps up the good work.
The x100p front camera is an abject failure. Sad they neglected this camera completely when trying to make a high end flagship to compete with apple, Samsung etc

@@StevenChris it's 1080p pal. Flagship phones have had 4k front video since 2017. iPhone has 4k30 and 4k60 they just aren't showing it in this video. Still image hdr is also sub par compared to other flagships.

you need to work on your bitrate because the quality of the photos can be good but if the bitrate of your upload sucks we cant tell a difference. plus start uploading in 4k and higher bitrate for higher quality photos i cant watch this because of the quality

Ok I wanna note once thing, I went to shop to test out all smartphone cameras and vivo was not there but Pixel 8 pro took best photos after iphone the thing is that it looked more beautiful but in reality colours were completely off. Now looking at this Vivo also gives you different colours but which one is more accurate?

@@hdwblade the one I don't REALLY need but bought only because I don't wanna see two vertical lines (defective display): vivo because I liked its camera more than oneplus 12 and though I prefer iphone's camera (never owned one), I thought vivo did really well (ocasionally better than iphone 15) in this video.

Why is vivo sound cature so flat and non-dynamic?! Lacks base and medium range almost badly... Any software updates helped ? Sound is very important for content creators and everybody who catures video!

Vivo clearly win this comparsion, even in video and stabilization. Iphone 15 pro max looks like a soap, when you compare it to sharpness and stability of vivo. I more prefer sharpness, then soap. Vivo x100 pro is absolute king of the kameras.
