Watercolor Pink Flowers with Bokeh

Today I’m sharing the view of my colorful spring yard and watercolor painting the lovely pink crabapple blossoms surrounded by a soft bokeh background. This is my first flower painting in pink so join me as we experiment with a pink color palette and find just the right tones to make this painting a success. Newbie here. So what about the pencil marks of the sketch? Are they painted over, or do you have to erase them? ( thanks for your expertise.). So I’m about at the end of your video, so I’m guessing that the lines effectively disappear.

Welcome to In the Studio! Because I'm using my handmade graphite paper, the lines eventually do disappear but I also put them on very lightly as you saw in the beginning. If there were any hard lines left, I usually try to lighten them if possible.
