Wow, what a great compliment, thank you! Thrilled that you are going to start sketching again. Just wait, you will ask yourself why you stopped. That's exactly what I did when I started this project.
When we were first married we renovated a 200 year old house in upstate NY. We had a whole pile of skeleton keys for the doors. It was a very small town and we rarely ever locked the door. Actually, when I went to the hospital to deliver our 1st child, our front door was off being refinished. We only had a screen door in place. 😂Those were the days.

YEAH! This makes me so happy and you will love the instant connection you have with the object as you create. It always makes me smile thinking of where I acquired it, who I was with, why I purchased it and I believe when you paint it the emotions show through it all. Have a great time!

Yes, play!!! It is just so important in our creative journey and a lot of us just don't do it. Colors, stuff and your imagination - can it really get any better than that? I don't think so!
Just found a lovely trio of faded dry leaf…….inspired me…as the faded greens were lovely….
