It's hard to believe this album is from 1995. It feels so much like pure, distilled 80s.

Right I had to remind myself when this came out. Honestly if this came out in the 80’s regardless of if people knew Hogan or not this would of done well lol.
A friend of mine found an entire bin of this album at a local dollar store for fifty cents each. This was in 2002, I believe, but he bought all of them and gave them away as Christmas presents.
He must have been forced by his boss to buy Christmas presents for his most hated coworkers.
Fifty cents for a lifetime of hilarity out of Beach Patrol alone? Totally worth it!

Little correction. Next to the Wembley Stadium is Wembley Arena, which is now known as SSE-Arena. Hogan wrestled there a least once in front of a whopping 2000 people, so there was more than one seat empty.

Jimmy Hart is a very credible musician, he even played on records that went gold in the 60's. I know he and Hulk are friends, but seriously, he must have realized just how terrible this album was. He could have said something, but then maybe Hulk wouldn't have listened and it was a paycheck.

After watching this video again, I decided to listen to "Bad To The Bone," as it reminded me of some other song.
I now remember what it was: "California Sun," the theme song from Brian Pillman's failed "California Brian" gimmick in WCW (known for its "Blondes Have More Fun" line being repeated). It's the EXACT SAME backing track with different lyrics. Wouldn't surprise me if this song was made first and then "California Sun" was made from it later.
