Would love to see you tie more of your different colored jigs. Was going to look at what all you tied and maybe purchase a few but your website has expired????
I new subscriber here!!... That was a great looking jig and also good tying technique👍 I've been tying for a few years but can always learn more from someone else👌👌👍👍😁😁
Thank you sir, love to hear that. I apologize for the delay. This is Chenille, there is a wide variety of it but I like a lot of the 'new age chenille' as it has more sparkle to it. Typically use size medium, here is a link to one of the sites I use for materials, hope it helps! www.anglersworkshop.com/Chenille
Hey Albert, thanks for watching! I don't think I have a good answer for you on that, I think it's mostly to make sure the thread is hidden in the chenille.
I make all of my own jig heads. This was made using a Do-It Mold: store.do-itmolds.com/Freestyle-JigbrMultiple-SizesbrHk-MultiplebrCollar-Wire-Holder_p_1294.html Eyes: Soft Holographic Silver 3d adhesive fish eyes 4mm www.ebay.com/itm/194168496384
Thanks for reply. That was my guess but when i compared the two it didn’t look the same. Oh well. I’ve been using disco silver for the most part on my minnow ties and just regular unpainted jigheads. I live here in central Arkansas and I see you’ve visited some nearby lakes.
Hey Chad, I pour them myself. The mold I am using is a Do-It Freestyle Jig Mold with Wire Keeper. I do not put the keeper in though. barlowstackle.com/Do-It-Freestyle-Jig-Mold-with-Wire-Keeper-P3975/

Looks like you use a Peak vise. Do you like it? I can't decide between Peak and Renzetti. Any input would be great!
Sweet jig!!
Thanks James!
I love jigs in fact you inspired me to make my own are the Shinells just pipe clearlers
There not. You have to get them online. Cascade or crazy angler any fly shop should have them
I have used pipe cleaners for striper and saltwater jigs they will rust though
