Definitely like seeing the jigs in action. My 2 year old little girl did as well. She said "Daddy, will you put that orange thing on my fishing rod?" Guess I got some tying to do!

You and Patrick over at Woods and Water are the best at blending cheniles. Pat taught me how to do it a s the color combinations are endless. And you taught me how to use schlappen feathers and polar chenile blended the same way which was the first time I have ever seen that method. Great pattern Mustache.

This is a fantastic looking jig, I have not seen this method of twisting the chenilles, but you can BET tomorrow when I’m in my tying room I will be trying it out.. I just happen to have all the materials needed to tie this jig. Thanks so much for teaching me

WoW. I'm brand new to this at 63 years old. I saw a fly tying book in our library when I was 9, I went home and got a hook, and snipped off some hair from our dog. Some red thread and the hair hour made my first fly.
YOU have inspired me to do it now, and I think our black lab will be safe.... maybe.
    Thank you for your videos.

Great jig! Instead of having to color the thread, I use some glitter glue from Dollar Tree. You get 8 tubes multiple colors, for $1.25. Not only does it color the thread, but adds sparkle and cements the chenille. They have several colors of chenille as well. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing. PB

@@MustacheJigs I used to do some fly fishing and tied my own flies. Then I got hooked on ultra-light spin fishing. After awhile I started tying my maribou and hair jigs to save money. That led to wooly bugger jigs. Now I’m experimenting with everything jiggy. You have so great skills tying and you make a great video. Thanks a bunch.

Nice video selection on your channel here, Mustache, and I have SUB'D!! Been entertaining myself for HOURS & HOURS looking over all your content! Just an observation from a COMPLETE and ABSOLUTE novice, I think it would be possible to "mask" the bunny hide as shown and commented upon in your video, with an ever so small hint of marabou in a coloration that might provide a "hot spot" such as hot pink, fl. orange, and/or chartreuse. Additionally, I've just bought a PEAK vice and was wondering: What is the vice that you are using, kind sir? Thank You.

A small paintbrush. You just tap it with your finger to sprinkle a small amount.

@@MustacheJigs And the body chenille put me in the mood for a Butterfinger. I guess the takeaway is not watch fly/jig tying videos when you're hungry. I have an idea myself. Most of the floating jig heads you can buy for walleye Lindy rigs are nothing more than a piece of painted styrofoam on a live bait hook. I'm going to dress a few of them up with some marabou and see if it provokes more bites.
