  • The new Honda ADV 350 has huge advantages over its pure motorcycle cousins. It can easily go off-roadin and it's got massive storage already. No more unsightly panniers and bags hanging off your bike and spoiling your ride. The new honda ADV350 is a genuine multi purpose motorcycle for adventure touring.
    The ADV350 is one of the newest members of the sporty and multipurpose Honda motorcycles, and the most likely dual sport motorcycle to dominate the mid displacement scooter market in different regions of the world.
    Here we take a look at just how capable the Honda ADV350 is off-road on some typical terrain where you might use a bike like this.
    We discuss the adv 350 price, power, and practicality, of the honda adv, and compare it as an option to expensive dual sport machines in terms of value for money and all round buyer satisfaction.
    The honda adv 350, sits between the new honda adv 160, and the honda x adv.
    Please feel free to ask any questions, or leave your thoughts in the comments below.

      They sure are tony, I prefer it for touring as I can load up under the seat, put a top box on the back, and we're off. And its great fun to ride.
      I actually rode an x Max 300 and a forza 300 back to back with the adv recently.
      The other two feel like fat scooters, while the ADV feels like a solid motorcycle.

      @@mototouro In Udon Thani I was torn between the 2024 Forza and the 2024 ADV, both are fantastic great value bikes. I opted for the ADV based on the high and wide handlebars which result in a very commanding riding position. So glad I did, and the suspension & shocks are fantastic at dealing with the less than perfect road surfaces in rural Thailand.

    Thank You for the video! Interesting perspective, but...
    "OVERCAUTIOUS"? You didn't put on any protection other than helmet mate! And most people would not consider getting splashed with dirt as a comfortable ride lol.
    I own Honda ADV350. It is nothing like dirt bike! And even thou i regularly go thru fields and forests for a few hundred meters - it is never for the fun of it. The suspension clearly lets you know "your butt wants back to the asphalt". Look at your posture there. You are always in seated position, where on a cross bike you would be standing on your feet compensating for the bumps. On ADV350 you just CANNOT stand! You would be dangerously close to the handlebar and feel unbalanced. Automatic transmission on the other hand is not the best equipment for assisting with engine breaking/thrusting.
    I love my Honda ADV350! It is one of the easiest motorcycles to learn to drive. Comfy and even luxurious by some measures, but not for crossing the country. No no no! Even the front wheel diameter tell you: it could easily dig into the soft terrain causing you to fall...
    Don't try it at home unless you wanna go "JACK ASS" movie style.
    Other than that try one! I sincerely encourage everyone to test ride Honda ADV350. I've seen bunch of new accessories for this scooter here on TH-cam. Bright new colors. I would even recommend it to older people who is looking for a safe affordable ride. HSTC, ABS. Well thought thru and capable model that also saves you money on gas. But not for those seeking a cross country experience. In this case get at least Honda XADV.
    Safe roads, have fun to all enthusiasts!
    Thanks again for the video, but be more careful my friend!

      Figvam....wow! I am hereby giving you the winner 🏆 award for the most in depth and informative viewpoint to any of our videos so far.
      However, the main point I'm making in this video is it makes a fantastic touring bike that will also handle some off road, which I clearly state in the video. It's not an enduro bike, full stop.
      You are 💯 % correct it is not easy to stand up on this bike, but then the speeds you 'should' be doing negate this anyway.
      As for protective gear, good point too. My history with very powerful motorcycles on and off road, pleasure, racing etc, the ADV is never going to spot me off.
      I should set a better example though.
      Thank you for your response, it's always great to hear opinions from people of all skill levels in different environments ❤️

    Do you have any tips for gravel road or off-road ? I wanna try with half traction control but don’t have confidence for it.
    Just afraid i could crash it cuz these bike parts is long waits

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi sadboi,
      It's will surprise you just how fast you can ride nearly any bike on gravel roads with practice.
      Corners, and obviously very rough ground, will be your biggest issues.
      Try to do all your braking for a corner in a straight line, then gently feed the power in, no coasting (ie. Rolling without throttle or braking), you will quickly develop a feel, and rhythm for the bike, and your confidence and speed will improve from there.
      It's a fairly well balanced motorcycle in corners, which helps. I rode the Forza 350 last week and definitely would not push that bike off road!
      As for traction control, I usually leave it on, but on really steep dirt hills, and in sand, it's annoying.
      Take it slowly to start with. You will instinctively know when it's ok to push it harder.
      Ride safe 🙏

    Wow, sure you are not a video professional, that was a brilliant piece of work - I am an cusp of buying one so you might have made up my mind! Trouble is, I already have the 700cc version and might miss the horsepower!!!

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wow! Thanks 😊 definitely not a professional Dr, but I do have a strong passion for all things motorcycle and I hope that comes through.
      As for the ADV 750, I often ride with a guy who has one, and the 350 outruns it as soon as the bends become tighter.
      I love the extra storage space under the 350 too.
      If Honda could make this bike into a 500cc version, and keep everything else about it pretty much the same, I think it would be an ideal all around touring bike.
      Just got back from a five day tour through southern Thailand 🇹🇭 and Malaysia 🇲🇾 averaging around 350-500km a day and I must say it performed flawlessly again, as usual.
      Thanks 😊 again for your comment and..ride safe 🙏

    On average, I travel app. 1000 km every 3-4 weeks on the highway, and I also frequently go camping with the XMAX 250 or PCX 125.. But I have difficulty on gravel roads. I know the ADV 350 is not an enduro motorcycle, but I think it is better than FORZA or XMAX on gravel roads. X ADV 750 is both expensive and unnecessary for me. My question is; If we ignore the engine power, is the ADV 350 slightly better than FORZA and XMAX on gravel and rural roads, or is there a significant difference?

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's much better than xmax 300 or forza 300, in every possible way in my opinion Rotaneta, that's both on, and off road.
      I have mainly a dirt bike background, motocross, dirt track etc. and as you pointed out, it's no enduro, but it will take you places you wouldn't normally go on a scooter, albeit slower.
      The suspension is quite good off road too, it doesn't bottom out easily for such a big bike.
      See if you can swing a test ride first.
      I also have a yamaha aerox 155, the ADV350 is way better off road than that, but it is a lot heavier too.

      Never had a cvt/scooter transmission that DIDN'T serve as an engine brake downhill... disappointingly so.
      I'd rather freewheel, and that would probably have saved my Navi a bit since I have a hilly commute, and that poor little thing wouldn't let me coast down the hills to both save gas and the little engine revving its guts out.
      If this DID freewheel downhill, that would be a selling point for me.

    • @mototouro
      @mototouro  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @paradoxworkshop4659 Nearly all the new scooters have a free-wheeling function now paradox.
      Honda click, Yamaha aerox, and of course the ADV.
      It works better on the ADV than it does on the aerox I own.
      I live on a hill with a km long winding road to the main intersection.
      I start off briefly with power then shut it off, it goes into 'neutral' and I coast all the way down.
      Quick blip of the throttle and it's back into engine braking/power mode.
      Would be nice if there was a way to switch this on or off easily though.
