Marcos was my classical guitar professor at IU Bloomington. He was great teacher and player. I don't remember many of my professors names, but I remember him. Obviously he made an impression on me. Good to hear your music again professor.
I was maybe 15 when I remember riding my bike to Borders Bookstore (off 3rd street) to watch these two play. Watching and listening to them at these gigs was one of my major inspirations to learn to play jazz.
