People have a choice, you can allow the hate to control you, or you can choose to ignore it a thrive to be happy... There is far more happy out there than hate. Leave the echo chambers that promote and bombard you with hate. The one thing i figured out a couple years ago is when it come to politics, and lets face it that's where the hate thrives, there is only one day a year to let it into my life, and that's election day for about an hour when im voting. After that there isn't anything i can or want do about it.

Are Americans least patriotic about their country than other countries? On the contrary. Americans have always been show offs when it comes to their patriotism.

To Denz: I was about your age when my family visited New York (I’m from Georgia). The younger of my two older sisters and I went up the stairs to the top of the Statue of Liberty. It was even more bare and open then (1986).
I was TERRIFIED and had to hold back from crying but the spiral staircase, once you’re on it, no way to go back down. So….knowing I HAD to commit and was stuck til the end was awful for me. I totally get it, lil bro.
I’m so proud of you that you did! SO proud!
You and I both got to be in the crown of Lady Liberty, despite our fears!
    Cheers to ya, man! 🙂

Last time I visited was, I believe, 1989, when I was 7. Then the statue was closed for a long time after 9/11, and every time I've tried to return since, I've run into some kind of setback, like them running out of tickets, or the last boat of the day going to the statue leaving. So great that you were able to visit it relatively easy.

I was in the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the upper floor.
I was about to leave so I came to the grand stairway to go down to the foyer .
It was extremely noisy down below as though there were a lot of people down in the foyer talking and chatting.
As I began to come down the stairway and looked down what I saw at the bottom was literally a thousand girls jam packed in the Foyer all talking and chatting.
As I'm about halfway down the stairs SUDDENLY ALL AT ONCE ALL THE GIRLS STOPPED TALKING AND IT BEGAME INSTANTLY DEAD SILENT AS THEY ALL TURNED AT THE SAME TIME AND LOOKED UP AT ME THEN THEY JUST STARED AT ME AS I CAME DOWN THE STAIRWAY !
Upon getting to the bottom i had to walk through a sea of girls that were all staring at me .

I stayed at a hotel in Times Square back in 2006, mostly a work trip. I had several drinks at an Irish pub/restaurant a few doors down from my hotel, the bartender fed me free shots as long as he was matching them. As I was walking around after I left the pub, full of drink, I inadvertently walked right through a Law and Order: SVU set. Nobody stopped me or said anything, saw Mariska Hargitay down the alley, I just kept walking. One of the funniest moments in my entire life.

So fun fact, cold brew and iced coffee are actually two different beverages. Iced coffee is often just standard brewed coffee poured over ice. Cold Brew is typically made by lining a pan with a towel, then coffee grounds, then pouring water into the pan and letting it steep in the fridge overnight. It completely changes the taste of the coffee when it's brewed hot or cold. :)

I grew up in NJ and spent much of my youth going to NYC for punk and hardcore shows all over the city and of course plenty of random journeys through Manhattan over decades of time. It's easy for the City to become less magical and become just another place you're so used to that it's not a big deal anymore. I say this because watching videos like this where we get to see people like yourselves experience it for the first time and get to feel that "wow" factor and the whirlwind of being in that environment is so good for the soul. It helps someone like myself appreciate a lot of what I may have become jaded to and it puts a smile on my face. Glad to see you all have so much fun in the Big Apple!

You guys are so cute. As a born and raised NYer, I often get aggravated when I’m in the city. I often forget the joy and amazement others experience when they visit. Thanks for reminding me. I hope you enjoyed it.

Gotta say, one of my favorite vlogs from any content creator. You all looked comfortable and obviously approachable. Great edit, looking forward to the next episode of your 🇺🇸 trip.

Wow! How fun!!! I’ve been to NYC and to the Statue of Liberty and all these amazing places. The sad part, I don’t remember ANYTHING!!! My aunt uncle lived there when I was a baby and toddler and my mom and dad took me and my older siblings several times. I have all the pictures and it looks like I had a great time, but I can’t wait to go back and actually remember it!!!
