Not exactly. You literally get more value when producing army with this landmark. If you slowly build up your army and most of it is from the burgrave you paid less than if you stopped, focused on your eco for a time and the dropped more barracks to get to the same army size. But it can turn easily into one when the enemy has all the counters to the burgrave units, you should go into stable or archer units but you still keep producing from burgrave.
One question Mr. Drongo. Did Valdemar put down the barracks by mistake in the beginning? Still not able to understand that decision. Even if he wanted infantry for rams, the archers could've done that.
I think he was predicting that the ootd player will go stables. Ootd is a civ where you want the hardcounter unit every time. When valdemar got pushed back it was also because he could not handle the crossbows with archers, then switched to horsemen but then had no knights to deal with the MAA.
Even though Order take some good fight, the game really feels one-sided with how big the villager difference is. Hear me out: French is going to be broken in this patch.
Agree. There is no way to counter siege + infantry comp. What do you do, kill siege with archers? The cavalry cant get in there when the siege is surrounded by infantry.
The new siege is wild! Springalds not countering siege is bonkers and will take some getting used to
Oh I forgot to comment on the other video, congratulations Drongo for definitely not having a third one on the way.
Was hoping they would do something about men at arms toughness. I feel they are still too chonky and running into them constantly. Great vid!
Yeah, I also wonder how people can amass them so fast early on
wetlands is savage map, i think it has 6-7 sheep total, of which 2 of them spawn near your TC.
Best defense is an attack in this map.
7:49 That's a sunk cost fallacy.

Ootd is very flexible with unit choices. I assume he wanted a potential hard counter if ootd wqnted to raid him back. Also spears are dirt cheap
How do you counter siege + infantry comp?
Kill siege with archers?

Just liked because it crowd shout out!!
Did you see that ludacris display last night?
