A massive error was made when Dehli fought chinese HC with their HC, the latter got higher range thus always firing the first shot. Should have capitalized on the silk strings and 0,5 range upgrade from the house of learning. Dehli crossbows actually hit pretty hard with the new patch.
Archers do get that bonus damage, but Handcannons aren't **Light** gunpowder units anymore, so Archers are only a soft counter through to range and cost. Light gunpowder includes only Janissaries and Grenadiers if I'm not mistaken.
Knights, hand cannons, and bombards are all so strong they make other units obsolete, if population costs reflected this, we might see more balanced armies, instead of one unit type spam. It would definitely make for better viewing to see armies built with a mix of units.

All those massed Handcannons and not a single TOV Archers with +1.5 range was a pain, Archers do bonus against Light gunpowder units now
