    Cool beans. I dug up an arrowhead back in 91 when digging a water line to a house I was helping dad build after our old house had burned. I broke it in half with the mattock but luckily found the other half. I'm super gluing the piece together (drying right now) & next I'm getting some copper wire (from the house I grew up in that burned in 90) & plan on making it into a necklace.

    The side tooth is called a Cusplet, and some to most sharks do not have them.

    Is there a way to do it with teeth that do not have the two little teeth either side of one big one. And do you have to use the wire. Thanks :)

    I am trying to figure out how much wire I need to wrap a tooth in this way. All the videos I find only show the actual wrapping process. Could you please help me with how to determine how much wire to remove from the spool?

    Might you happen to know of a particular braided chord/rope method to secure a shark tooth?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Edward, you can make a braid of any thickness using a Kumihimo disk and cord of your choice.

    is there a way to make them into earrings?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can simply attach the loops to an earwire like these:

    Love your work!... and the ease with which you teach it :-) Maybe the sharks' teeth were scavenged at the seashore? (I, myself, have never seen them but hope springs eternal that such a talented human is not a speciesiest.) ;-)

    I wish you had shown how to wrap the arrowhead!!! I'm so disappointed. That was what I was looking for. Please don't include something in the example if you aren't going to show how to do it.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is pretty much the same technique, but if the top (base) of the arrow does not flare enough, just wrap the wire several times around it before finishing the loop.
