Thank you for sharing another of your wonderful designs. I will look forward to making this when I get my studio set back up after this move. Allow me to apologize for the harassment from the other individual that posted. Perhaps we should feed he/she a nice juicy rare steak off the grill. Unreal!

You're very welcome! I am looking forward to see what you make. And thank you kindly for your concern...
Having seen this crop up in various online forums and groups I am in from time to time, I have learnt that this sort of deranged behaviour can be the result of mental illness, and the usual advice is not to encourage dialogue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and, although this is rather strange choice of platform to voice your grievances, it truly doesn't bother me, but I appreciated your concern never the less. xx

The pictures of the weave is so helpful, if I can't see clearly or understand clearly looking at the pictures really help, thank you!

My step daughter handed me a large sharks tooth and asked me to wrap it for a necklace for her.. so I went hunting with her for a tutorial and she picked this one “but with a red stone!” Some of these weaves are kind of new to me, so while I liked the video a lot, I was very pleased to see you also had a paid pdf tutorial as well! So just bought that! Both to help me succeed with this endeavor and to support your work. You create such amazing pieces and I so appreciate the time you spend teaching us here on TH-cam!

Thank you for sharing that fascinating video. Beautiful piece. I have wrapped fossils, but not such a complex shape, & love the way you included the stone..

Can you oxidize this, or is the tooth too porous?

Definitely a no-no I have found as I have ruined a tooth dipping it in LOS. Whether it was the heat, the water or the chemical, I don't know, but it pretty much crumbled straight away after dipping.

Could try pre dipping the wire in LOS before wrapping. OR another method is you could paint liquid latex or polyurethane paint on the tooth before a dip, then peel it off after. That's a tecnique I use alot when electroforming items that are too delicate to go into the acid bath.

Thanks so much! I have “painted” LOS before so I think I may do that. Or I may just leave it natural
