Love the old Macs everyone here had the 125 when I was a kid and then the cd 2100 great saws on these bigger Doug and Redwood I started out on the 084 had it till a couple years ago when it got stolen out of my yard still love playing with old pioneers and homlites when I cut on the weekends just to keep the memories and heritage alive still
All 3 are AWESOME! I couldn't tell really much difference in them. And a big Thank you to Ronnie and his wife for the opportunity to use his Beautiful property for this challenge. God Bless and remember it cost nothing to be Kind .

hey billy, i just got an old chainsaw with a plunger type bar oiler. i was wondering how often i should push the plunger when using the saw? it has a 20" bar if that matters
I saw TinMan's videos building yir saw.. Then I got hooked. Cuz you seemed to be in concert with that dude. He admits that he's learning. But he's getting it down. Iron Horse? He knows saws. The saw technology that he teaches comes from vast assortment of motor sports experience. Yeah saw-tech is cool, but his personality and life stories are what I really like. Tinboy and Harvey are good men.
Pulling at right angles to the recoil outlet sure makes for a hard pull though. Lot of resistance pulling the rope over the cover like that. Hard on covers and recoil ropes to.

At any rate if you think that pulling a rope at a hard 90 across the recoil cover is better for the cover or rope or easier to pull than your a total dipshit. Do it your fucked up way if you want but when the rope burns a hole in the bushing of your shitty Poulan you’ll know why.

@4:00 that sure looks like top beak on that chain. Camera can do some crazy things, but a side beak should look very different.

I’ve got an 850 with a nos cylinder and piston, you cannot pull it over without the decomp in. Crazy compression in that saw.
