- I took a first class overnight bus from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Thailand, a trip of approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes.
I hope this gives you an idea of what it is like to travel first class on a night bus in Thailand.
There was no traffic jam and we arrived almost on time.
Note: No power outlets. Checked baggage is limited to two pieces and 20 kg in total. You don't need to print out the ticket.

@kevoprezzo I guess that the bus changed lanes back and forth is around Khun Tan National Park, Lampang. Changing lanes while going up or down the hill, causing the bus to be the least cranked and the bus will be stable and not falling out of the curve. You are confident that the company you can ride is very safe. The driver must always measure the amount of alcohol and check the readiness before traveling, and the bus has a GPS system to control the speed. 😊
