Ya, clearly the 2009 Magic, 2011 Mavs, 2018 Cavs, and 2019 Raptors were genuinely the best team in their conference. I bet if you ran a simulation, they’d win their conference 1000/1000 times since clearly they were legitimately that much better than everyone else. It definitely didn’t take any injuries or convenient matchups or ref help or blatant luck to get them there..... Kawhi’s game winner is the best example. Clearly the refs didn’t help him by ignoring his obvious travel, and the shot wasn’t lucky since he intended to shoot it at a higher angle than he’s ever taken a shot before and clank it off the front iron since he’s a physics mastermind and knew based on the angle and velocity that it’d bounce 4 times off the side of the rim and go in.
