No words on earth are good enough to describe David's voice. It's not just his hitting the high notes (as we all know he can do); but the way he does it, with such power/strength and ease and keeps on singing. Love his tone, has a rounding effect, never shrill. His presentation is phenominal also, with his body movements, hand jestures, etc. Shoot! I think he is Top Dawg!
There are not enough words to adequately express the magnificence of this performance by all the singers! If you didn’t believe before, you should after.
Michael English isn't mentioned in any of the comments, but his performance on this song is also excellent. Love all the GVB, this is one of their best.
Oh, and by the way: for those of you that say David lost the voice after he lost the weight- listen to 2:37. This is the EXACT same high D he sang when he was big that everyone was going crazy over.
Was this the Saturday night concert? I really wish we could've gone to all three concerts! I also love Mark's voice! Power *and* a "soothing" sort of quality. The jokes, though...they're just jokes. Mostly originated by Mark himself. Mark is really one of the other guys' favorite singers! Bill was pretty much the first person to take Mark's voice seriously...Mark considered himself a comedian who happened to sing until he was with the GVB. All of these guys are awesome! And together...WOW! :)
Ah. That's very interesting. I think Bill means he isn't a basso profondo, which are the basses that can sing abnormally low. But it sounds like he can sing a low C pretty good judging from one of the song recordings like, "Low Down the Chariot". Anyway, thanks for answering my question!
Lol. Well, I don't know what Bill's thinking but yea, if you can sing low C's and even B's and Bb's, he is a bass. Maybe when he was younger he had to try harder or something.
such a wonderful song, and message for all of us.
16-09-2023 GOD BLESS YOU FOR BEING A BLESSING IN MY LIFE WITH YOURS BLESSEDS PRAISES, GVB!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤BRASIL.
Mark doesnt get enough credit for his voice..he's a great singer. Blends perfectly, and does his solos with perfect pitch.

What do you mean bill isn't a "true" bass singer?
Lol. Well, I don't know what Bill's thinking but yea, if you can sing low C's and even B's and Bb's, he is a bass. Maybe when he was younger he had to try harder or something.
his version of it is finished is lower than before.
i prefer the older version of this song when guy penrod was still in the group.
+Aiman Garcia Michael English can't sing as high as Guy Penrod.
SchoeneTante
yes he can..
No he cant
@@SolomonD01 yes he can.
@@SchoeneTante He can. I heard Michael sustain D5s clearer than Guy's ever. He just became more pushy as he got older.
I mean Live.
jajaj.. excuse my ingles jejeje
@dadadadasad Yeah ohh Weeeiiiiee!! XD
