Despite all backlash and bas reviews the movie has earned a far greater treasure it could’ve done at the box office. It’s production has led a soul to salvation.
That's so cool that Shia was able to help the Capuchin friar on his journey as well. We all have a place here, God knows what He's doing we just need to trust it.
That's what I noted, too. This wasn't just about Shia's journey, but also of others whom God used to draw Shia to Him. The Lord God knows what He's doing indeed. I think there's a Great Gathering to the Faith that our Lord is doing hahaha!
Yes. I was so struck by the Friar’s story and how God ALWAYS has a plan, always shows up. Also made me realize how our decisions have consequences for others, not necessarily even those related to us.. Each of us has a mission that is revealed only if we stay faithful. Despite the spiritual dryness, the Friar stayed faithful, and was clearly instrumental in Shia’s conversion.May God continue to Bless and Guide them both.🙏🏾
Protestant here, happy to see him walk with God. I know he's had a timultuous past in his personal life and with God, but I hope he continues to cultivate his relationship with Christ. This is good news!
Never underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit! There is a reason God brought Shia to the Capuchins....the friars have long been regarded in the Church as brothers to the forgotten, and God's messengers of mercy. This beautiful encounter was no accident. May the Holy Spirit continue to bless Shia on his faith journey.
As a fellow convert, I know that feeling of wandering the desert, wondering if someday you will find a home. Two years ago, I found that home, and I have no plans to leave it. Welcome, brother!
I had the great joy of being the godparent of a classmate in campus. He wasn't religious but he saw me going for daily mass and taking my faith seriously. He one day told me that he'd like to be a Catholic...I was blown away and thanked God. I accompanied him during his catechumate and got emotional when I saw him being baptized and confirmed. Seeing this reminds me of the joy I experienced that day....these conversion stories always move me to tears. Thank to the Holy Spirit for these beautiful journeys of souls.

@@LauraBeeDannon if you read the Bible and studied scripture that isn’t manipulated by the Catholic Church you would know some important things about Catholicism that are completely unbiblical. Praying to false idols (mary and the saints) the Bible calls this idolatry and you are to only pray to Jesus. Confession, after Jesus died the veil was torn, and people now have direct access to God. Going to someone other than god to confess your sins and repent is unbiblical. Infant baptism, according to the Bible baptism is only to announce your faith publicly it doesn’t do anything other than that. Catholics believe communion is actually Jesus’ flesh and blood sacrificing him every mass. This is completely unbiblical and negates Jesus one and only sacrifice needed to save humanity. They also believe the bread is a holy object and normal Catholics aren’t holy enough to touch it themselves, this is unbiblical. The pope and fathers given authority over the Bible and church is unbiblical. Purgatory was used to trick people into paying for their loved ones salvation, this has zero backing in scripture. InCatholicism you can lose your salvation having to earn it back by doing good deeds and going to mass. This just by itself goes against the one thing that makes Christianity unique from every other religion on the planet. Christianity is not a works based system. Salvation is a free gift from God according to scripture. There Is more but these issues clearly show Catholicism has really nothing to do with Christianity. You might know a Jesus but it’s not the Jesus of the Bible. I pray that you will read your Bible and look into these points with an open mind and heart. Seeking the true Jesus from scripture.
@@paxChristi123 I have one Father. No man or anyone else other than Jesus is worth my prayer and praise. what you said is probably the most ironic statement I’ve ever heard. Study your Bible and look into the questions I purposed, you will see everything I have stated is biblical. The devil can’t dwell within the Bible, but he certainly has power over man. The Catholic Church is perfect example of this.

I am also smiling for the brother who was having a crisis of faith, that he found in this, a way through his dark night. God is still working miracles in the hearts of His people. Praise Him!
Am so happy for him. His interview last year is one of my favorites but I’m always wary both of celebrity conversions and any heavy publicity- this is both. I have no doubt his conversion is sincere and the Word on Fire truly believes this will inspire more people to look into the faith. And it probably will to some degree but I’m afraid of the pressure it will have on him and if there will be attacks. If he has any “failures” it will affect others too. In any case, let’s pray for each other 🙏🏽

My brother Shia, welcome to the communion of all the faithful, welcome home.
Wow. This made me so happy for him and all those involved on his holy journey. Welcome, young man, to our Catholic family. God bless you and everyone. It's truly a joyous happening! Keep smiling.✝️

Congratulations on the greatest place you can be, the Catholic Church! Always remember you are receiving the heart of Jesus...body, blood soul, and divinity!
The touching detail to me was how Shia is described as very serious and almost morose in the beginning and as he got to know Christ he became more spontaneous and smiled, his true self came out. That is the effect of having Jesus in our lives JOY because now you have HOPE. John 16:24, Galatians 5:22-23.
Praying for our Church, and praying for Shia’s continuing growth. Someone with his skills and his visibility could be a great blessing for catholicism and for the world. Glory to God 🙏🏻
I love the brother’s testimony at the end that he was struggling with his faiths prior to Shia’s arrival. It’s amazing how God works in each of our lives to brig us to him.
This is amazing to see! Shia had a really tough childhood and last couple of years, so for him to be happy, to be accepted by a community, is incredible to see. Hope the Catholic Church treat him well and hope he can continue on this path.
He's a very kind and open guy. On a few occasions, he was very kind to me and he didn't even know me well. Welcome to the one true Catholic church, Shia! So happy for you! We're praying for you that God give you fortitude and a steadfast heart. 🙏💙
Alleluia!
I was born a Catholic but I never practiced my faith...I used to live in darkness...but for some reason i came across Saint Padre Pio...and I started to get to know my faith...Padre Pio was the light that I needed to go back to the right path...which is God ❤
this is beautiful, i'm not catholic, but over the moon to have another brother in Christ, the world slowly feels like it's shifting into light (more people coming to Jesus). biggest congratulations to him 🕊️❤️
I agree with you, sister in Christ, on the "shifting into light." As I replied to another comment here, there seems to be a Great Gathering to Faith that our Lord God is doing through Jesus Christ. I pray that many more people fall in love with our Savior.
@@prayangelm absolutely! it feels like the world is slowly coming home ❤️ God bless you, friend.
@@tònaidhmàiréadanna1995 It's just amazing feeling cannot be describe by words 💓💓💓🙏🙏✝✝🕊🛐🛐All the Glory and praise to our dear lord Jesus christ the Messiah ✝✝✝
I see and feel this way too! Contrary to the news and what’s highlighted in media, the two church’s that I go to are swelling and families are getting bigger and more involved again. People actualize their hope in God. God is love.

I was also a Baptist and became a Catholic,I love, love, love this beautiful God given Church, married in it and it all went from there,I might add I had no coercian from anyone.
Have 28 grandchildren from 4 children and around 26 practise their faith.I love God .Thank u God❤❤❤Thank u Mumma Mary.
I'm not Catholic but I'm so happy for Shia. It's fantastic he knows Jesus now.
What a great character arc
Welcome home, Shia. The most blessed day for me was Easter 2020 when I was baptized, confirmed & received first communion as Catholic. A beautiful moment for a Lord who loves us madly. Welcome home. Thank you brothers for guiding him in his quest to find peace.
Despite all backlash and bas reviews the movie has earned a far greater treasure it could’ve done at the box office. It’s production has led a soul to salvation.
Amen to that!!!❤
I haven’t seen it. Where is it available ?
Exactly. What is the loss of millions when a man has gained his soul.
I'm glad many actors and artist are becoming believers in christ, god bless them in theyr journey
I was confirmed Catholic 2 years this Easter. I cannot begin to express my feelings. I'm so very happy for him to begin his journey too
As a fellow convert, I know that feeling of wandering the desert, wondering if someday you will find a home.
I live in The South Carolina Lowcountry. A few years back, Shia was arrested in nearby Savannah, Ga. To see the change and reverence he has now is miraculous. God bless him ón his faith journey.
I remember this too. He was drunk and belligerent but to his credit when he had sobered up he went to the arresting officer and apologised to him
I love being Catholic and to see this lost soul find our Lord makes me happy
God bless you Shia and your journey with God
Thank you Bishop Barron for sharing Shia’s story, God bless you, your ministry and your priesthood!
Shia is a MASSIVE inspiration to all of us. May God bless him for coming home.
As a protestant i admire how catholics revear God and have a certain seriousness in his presenace something i think that missing from a lot of churches. God bless Shia. Christ is really moving in his life.

@@johnyang1420 Try Jesus
@@Jacksonmontyart RCIA is wa y to get closer to Jesus with prayer and scripture
🙏 Thank you God for always reaching out, for always loving us!
Brother Jude is a gift to the Catholic Church. God bless him!
God bless Shia, his friends and family. Welcome to our Family!
I’m going from atheism to Roman Catholicismin stages. I love Latin Mass. I saw the evils of 2020 turned to God.
Welcome home.
The Heavens are singing w joy to have you come back home!❤ Never give up your voyage towards God! He has been waiting! I will be praying for you❤
Welcome. Whenever I feel down during my walk with Christ, I pray and come back to this video.
What a beautiful, wonderful experience, thank you Shia for sharing your journey to Catholicism, welcome to the family.Thank you Bishop Barron for this clip and it shows even a Brother of faith can wrestle with God and have doubts. This touched me so deeply, thank you so much. May God bless and be with you always and forever 🙏🕊🙌💜🤍💜🌟✝️
As an Orthodox I am glad for him and hope that with Gods help he will find peace.
Wow, incredible! Lord, give Shia the fortitude and strength he needs in the face of this culture.
Im a cradle catholic from Manila,Ph.
Grew up agnostic. Cause well as a kid i had no guiding grace. Im 33 now and isnt it beautiful how technology is being utilized?
Isnt it beautiful that we witness how grace transforms lives? A life?
Its just beautiful. Thank you for sharing this
Sending you all love over there 🌺
Congrats to Shia! This is moving for me.
Man... I can't watch this without breaking down in tears. God has been so good 😊😊😊
It’s not the fact that I’m Catholic so I’m so glad you chose Catholic no… I’m glad someone of your stature can share to the world you love Jesus and aren’t afraid to show it
Congratulations Shia LaBeouf!!! I was baptized on April 16, 2022. Accepting Jesus Christ into my life really changed my life. I love everyone and everything!!! Thank you Jesus!!!
I am also a convert and so happy for Shia and thanks to the Brothers and Bishop Barron.
I have been born, raised, educated a Catholic. Sometimes you take it for granted. You take it as an everyday normal thing and it gets lost in the mix. It’s nice to see how it changes lives and good to hear good stories about the faith and the clergy. 🙏 🤲
Oh my goodness you are spot on! Same with me. It’s just normal part of every day life since I was born that I forget people discover it themselves and it’s a whole new experience. I don’t want to take it for granted anymore.🙏🏼
Welcome Shia from a convert of 28 years. It just gets better and better. 💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wow! So beautiful and moving! I’m crying watching Shia being given Jesus in the Eucharist with all the friars around him ; being confirmed and being such a witness to Gods Love and Mercy!
Welcome Shia Welcome Home. Sending you hugs and prayers ! God bless you and guide you each day to be a man after Gods Heart! 🙏🏼❤️
Beautiful. We all need to pray for Shia and all those discerning or entering the faith!
Another conversion story that touched me and many others...such a beautiful story, Padre Pio pray for us. May god bless you Shia...welcome home...
This is so beautiful! He was crying and me too. It's such a humbling moment. Coming back to the back to our faith after 20 years, and receiving my Confirmation only 18 months ago; I still feel overtaken with joy when I receive His Body. Being fully aware of what has really taken place at the altar is the most humbling and joyful experience. You feel so unworthy and yet so extremely blessed that God comes under roof.
May God use Shia for His Glory and the renewal of his Holy Church 🙏✝️
I will always become a Catholic. Every single moment of my life.
tell that to the native americans that die, & mexicas!
@@jafetzamudio5285 how can I tell them?

I'm not religious, but I'm very happy for Shia LaBeouf. Glad he's found his purpose and happiness.
What a beautiful testimony, welcome home Shia 🌹🌹🌹
Fantastic. Thank God for this. A catholic from France
It is sad that Catholicism is losing believers in France. God bless all Catholics
Thanks for covering this Bishop Barron.❤
In a lot of ways i grew up with this guy. Through his youth to adulthood he has always been this amazing artist that inspired me so much. Having gone through my own pains and loss of faith at one point. Seeing someone find their way to Christ like i did again just makes my heart so happy.
What a wonderful addition to our Church! Peace is a good look on you Shia🙏
I never thought that the kid from Even Steven’s and the dude from the transformers movies would become Catholic. Beautiful and moving. I definitely had an inkling that he would possibly become Catholic when took on the role of Padre Pio.
Very inspiring! Praying for him and the Franciscan community. May our Lord protect and guide them.
Thankful to God for bringing Shia home. I'm also a convert to Catholicism and it's beautiful to see a brother come home.
❤❤❤❤ I get to come into the church at the Easter Vigil this year and I’m beyond excited. And so far it really has felt like home ❤
Congratulations 🎉 welcome home! I hope it's a beautiful day
I came into the Church at the last Easter Vigil. I've been following Shia's journey and am so happy for him. I am also smiling for the brother who was having a crisis of faith, that he found in this, a way through his dark night. God is still working miracles in the hearts of His people. Praise Him!
Welcome home!!!
What a way to begin the new year! Shia, welcome home! We have your back! We pray for your perseverance and that you will find your happiness in God!

Orthodox here and without any doubts, it was amazing, beautiful!
So happy to call him a brother in Christ!
How beautiful when a lost brother comes home. I was especially touched by the “little miracles” .
Thats Powerful ! Welcome to home Shia ! ❤

Is Shia born again? Without that noone will see the kingdom
@@noemasteich you need to be baptized before you can received Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist, so yes he’s born again
In any case, let’s pray for each other 🙏🏽
Many blessings to you, Shia .. beautiful 😍 🙏 May your conversion be a beautiful journey bring many others to church through your real life testimony, as you get closer to Jesus that is the way, annd now you're reborn ..
This will be your holy, happy, and powerful message spoken to many without words... ❤❤❤❤
You will be in my prayers. I did pray for you many years beforehand.
Praise be JesusChrist
As a convert myself, I say welcome home brother! Life with Jesus is much better than my life without.
Bro come to islam.. Christian religion will finish soon.. people leave Christianity
Being a Secular Franciscan from Burlingame Capuchins in Burlingame I am very happy to watch his journey. Thank God for another soul saved from what he had been through.
Shia te recibimos con gozo como comunidad Cristiana segui perserverando en la FE que la Virgen Maria te guie paz y bien saludos desde Argentina
Another lost soul comes home. Beautiful..
Shia was always my favorite actor as a kid. Funnily enough, it was “Surf’s Up” I watched over and over. Watching this, hearing that familiar voice which I’ve heard for years profess the Catholic faith which I myself recently came into… something about it just hit me. I did cry. My brother Shia, welcome to the communion of all the faithful, welcome home.
Wow. This made me so happy for him and all those involved on his holy journey. Welcome, young man, to our Catholic family. God bless you and everyone. It's truly a joyous happening! Keep smiling.✝️
The saints keep working their miracles!!!! Thanks Padre Pio! This is so amazing I am in goosebumps and almost tearing!!! Welcome home Shia
This is so crazy. I feel like the HWNDU flag hunt stuff was just yesterday. One of the top peculiar moments of my childhood. So happy for Shia and hope he continues to grow in the faith! Don't stop praying for him guys.
Feel like he should make a comedy movie about that whole ordeal, would be great fun
4 Chan helped drive him to Christ? Is 4 chan up for sainthood?🤔
Congratulations on the greatest place you can be, the Catholic Church! Always remember you are receiving the heart of Jesus...body, blood soul, and divinity!
As the Irish say, 'Good on ya lad.' ☘️🍀
The touching detail to me was how Shia is described as very serious and almost morose in the beginning and as he got to know Christ he became more spontaneous and smiled, his true self came out. That is the effect of having Jesus in our lives JOY because now you have HOPE. John 16:24, Galatians 5:22-23.
Praying for our Church, and praying for Shia’s continuing growth. Someone with his skills and his visibility could be a great blessing for catholicism and for the world. Glory to God 🙏🏻
I have a feeling Bishop Barron has been affected by Shia’s conversion himself. God bless both of you!
😢😢😢😢 God is so good. Thank you Father for bringing your son home.
Oh wow! That feeling of receiving the body of Christ for the 1st time ❤...that' spiritually and emotionally overwhelming..welcome home brother..
Extremely moving! Thanks for sharing
I love the brother’s testimony at the end that he was struggling with his faiths prior to Shia’s arrival. It’s amazing how God works in each of our lives to brig us to him.
Excellent. A great story about God's miracles of the heart.
Welcome, brother Shia. May the Lord keep blessing you, your family, and loved ones and your work.
Bro don't worship dead people
Welcome home Shia! I’ll be praying for all who are moved by this video❤
This is amazing to see! Shia had a really tough childhood and last couple of years, so for him to be happy, to be accepted by a community, is incredible to see. Hope the Catholic Church treat him well and hope he can continue on this path.
Welcome Shia to the most beautiful story ever told.
He's a very kind and open guy. On a few occasions, he was very kind to me and he didn't even know me well. Every time I see him in media I get a bit sad because I remember those times and I just hope he's doing well. But knowing that he's searching for a relationship with Christ, I know he's in the most qualified hands. God Bless Shia and his dear mother.
