5:24 - scheduled shutdown (in 30 seconds) is what I use daily - it's actually possible to assign that command to a button in OpenShell (free Start menu replacement)
Interesting you mention about the assignment of the command to a button/shortcut. That would definitely be a nice quality of life tip for sure! Thanks for the comments and info shared! :)
Using the DOS command prompt we have less commands, but i can make new external commands using batch files as container for x86 assembly mnemonics and debug. In DOS we have no color command and so i make a COLOR.BAT that need to start with a color attached. Example: COLOR.BAT 1b. The routine inside use the attached color (%1) to fill the screen memory of the vga text screen with the color. But after a cls command the color is set to color 7 with the black background color. I made some videos(no speech) to show how it works and to share the batch files. Have fun.
I’m not too familiar with the various command line interfaces out there but just thought to share some commands that are on the more useful side regarding MS DOS specifically. I appreciate your comment and the detail you mentioned on these topics! 👍

0:43, works only if your pc has already been connected to the wifi and knows the password
Yep fair point, I should of maybe added that it's for known networks only. No hacking here! XD
I use the DOS command prompt, but without Windows.
Interesting, thanks for the comment!
