Maybe, if I do mine. I have in the past refoamed the seats and I don’t remember the backs being significantly more difficult. I did cut by own foam, rather than buy the expensive preformed foam pieces, so that was a bit more time consuming.
@@comeinhandynow Yes the backs are much more tricky especially if you make your own foams. I made mine from 1inch and 1/2 inch foams and as you say this saves money but takes much longer to get a good shape. The top corners are the the hardest to get a nice uncreased rounded finish at the back. For the DIYer I recommend Aldridge foams. I did this professionally for a couple of years but cant find any spare time now. Keep up the good work on the vids.
most bizarre designs i've ever seen. to support the person, they have a thin rubber mat trampoline, but to constuct a height adjuster they use TWO massive pieces of flat steel which are probably strong enough to support the weight of the whole car. BIZARRE. i'm replacing the rubber mats now with a fabric trampoline and stainless cable around the edges. rock solid.
Good vid, but what about one for re-covering the backrest which is much more challenging dont you think?

Take the seat out. Turn it over and check mechanism.

can you buy just the foam that fits in side seats as mine is decomposing on to carpetts
You can buy all the foam bits on ebay, see this link ebay.to/2HRTSaA
Or you could buy blocks of foam and cut out your own bits.
