Lads wear safety glasses when on the sledge hammer on metal pins, a man I worked was doing the exact same task as this with me 10 years ago and ended with with 2x4mm shard of metal buried in his retina and lost his eye.

FYI - the pads should be on the other way around, the lip should be to the front as you track forward with the sprockets at the back.
Throw 4 car tyres on the low loader for grip when climbing up on it!
Workshop sorted. Shed 6290 fixed. Digger back in yard. New tractor. You ll be running out of content soon 😀😀😀 you ll have to get Father Phil in workshop with that wet blaster and spray gun to surprise us all with new projects for the winter

Aw jesus lads that was hard work put the track on the ground pull it along under the side frame to I comes out behind the sprocket then let the sprocket bring the track round to the idler that's where you join the track much easier

Phil I have to say something and I did not know Very Little about tracks when I arrived in Oz My previous experience was. 12 ton new JCB and we all know that all you learn from a new machine is window cleaning anyway I’m a quick learner and changed tracks on diggers dozers etc from 10 ton to 400 ton yes O&K RH 200 Track pads and chain around 25 tons each side
Now to track fittings generally they fitted pads off machine Pull chain under track frame place on drive sprocket and use machine to roll on and join on idler end using two come alongs or chain with dog to line up
To fit track master pin grab a gallon or two of liquid nitrogen from your local friendly dairy farmer in an insulated container Bro look up how it’s made as part of your science class Place pin in Liquid Nitro using bit of fence wire apply a bit of heat to link bores up to 200 centigrade do not overheat place pin in nitrogen container close grab pin with pliers ( Multy grips Big pliers) place gently in hole have soft hammer ready 1 tap pin in 20 second job preparation 1/2 hr
Safety use insulated gloves ,welders gloves best safety glasses as liquid nitrogen can kill ,so can marriage treat with respect
Anyway as father Phil it may not be the right way but it’s his way and don’t mind me an old ex paddy in Oz dreaming keep up the good work aye ye going to the Ploughing in lovely Laois,might see you there Better start walking

Well lads iv done that job um teen times an ur right iv done it that it takes an hour or 4 hours an I drove a machine that the tracks were so bad if it through a track I'd leave it off an put it back on when I was going home 😂😂😂👍
Another good video but when we do tracks dozer/ diggers fitter take the paint off the chains where the pads sit so they don't come loose I see you left it on
